To me Capcom is the best developer out there next to Nintendo, so they can put a game on any console and it will sell. I think it is because the 360's poor sales in Japan, because they know Japanese style games wont sell as well in the US and you know they wont sell great in Japan.
It's coming. Microsoft had to prove they could market and sell a platform that would make an impact around a lot of markets before the big Japanese developers would catch on...
Sega has had success but on the flipside Dead to Rights didn't work out that well for Namco...
The problem was the original Xbox sold so poorly in Japan that developers couldn't be bothered to spend the money just to port a game to the Xbox. Now that Capcom has shown that a japanese developer can have major success on the 360 and Blue Dragon/Lost Odessey plus the Capcom games have garnered enough interest to increase the sales of 360's in Japan more Japanese developers are beginning to see the 360 as profitable.
Team Ninja and Tecmo have made lots of money being Xbox exclusive...for a while at least, it looks like Tecmo is going to give Sony a little bit of love.
In addition to the other Japanese publishers mentioned above, Konami is also working with 360. They just released that Winning 11 soccer game in the U.S.
I didn't know that Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey were being made by Capcom. Oh wait they aren't. It tells you something when the two biggest Japanese games aren't being made by Capcom.

Enchanted arms was by ubisoft. No it was developed by From Software. So was Chromehounds.

If you look at a recent article form 1up.com capcom management actually did not even want to develop the games for 360. So 360 onwers lucked out when the developer of the game pushed for these games to be released on the platform.
Japanese support between the PS3 and 360 is quite even. Just thats SW is full of idiot fanboys too ignorant to look past the conditions of PS2 and Xbox.

The only companies that i can think of that are not supporting the xbox360 at their full are squarenix(and it's never going to happen) and Konami(they will bring most of their franchises on the 360 in the end).

In terms of what JPN games will sell more in JPN yeah BD and LO are the biggest but the biggest JPN games being developed by JPN on 360 are NG2 and RE5.

Besides Mistwalker and Tecmo/Team Ninja, yeah, that's about it. But developers are beginning to warm up to the system and gradually giving it more and more support.
You know - having exclusive Capcom support hasn't proven to be a good thing in recent years... ...Dreamcast had it. ...GCN had it. ...360 has it? :P ;)
Tecmo/Team Ninja Namco-Bandai is doing Eternal Sonata Sega is doing VF5 and Sonic and stuff like that Konami did the terrible Rumble Roses, but odds are they'll support it more down the line, my guess would be a multiplat next-gen silent hill Square is making a new MMO and a godawful space shooter So those are some big publishers
The answer is simple. Capcom is the only Japanese developer that has vision and isn't biased. Unlike the gamers in Japan and the other development houses over there.
