Why does Halo 3 have such ugly graphics?

Uncharted is definetly the best looking game outside of the PC realm.

Funny growing up I never thought PCs and consoles were ever in competition with one another. But ya know I look at Gears of War, Bioshock, Uncharted, R&C, and I'm not exactly bleeding with envy at PC game graphics. Especially since I dont ever have to worry if a new game is compatible with my hardware.

Then again I've been a console gamer all my life. I don't care about PC games. Never did. Never will.
