What company is to blame (or for xbox 360 or PC only owners to thank) for DMC4 going multiplat?

I guess you could blame Sony for not bribing Capcom; but there is really little control over 3rd party titles.

Just to play back at you on that point.........Could Sony have "pushed" Capcom to this decision by choices they made with the PS3

It's completely up to Capcom....they want more money. I guess you could blame Sony for not paying up but what's to say MS didn't offer more? It's all a big guessing game. So I say thank Capcom if you're a 360/PC owner and if you're a cow....Well, we still get it but lying to us wasn't very nice.

I would blame it on the 360 gamers. 10 million sold + highest attach rate of all next gen consoles makes the 360 hard to ignore.

It's all the GBA's fault, if it wouldn't have outsold the PS3, Capcom wouldn't have had second-thoughts. (I AM kidding you know)

Can't blame Capcom for wanting to make more money. So I blame Sony. Just hope that they send some 360 exclusives to the ps3.

People will vote Sony just because it's negative.

I'm sure the low number of console sales is one of the factors resulting in their decision; the question now is what other games are about to lose their exclusivity.

Capcom makes their own business decisions. And if Sony can't offer enough cheddar to make up for the loss of financial security inherent in exclusive contracts, Capcom doesn't have to stay exclusive.

2 people

1. Sony for not supporting capcom, they could pay for publishing or other stuff to keep it in

2. the 360 fans that made LP and DR a huge success   :)

Blame Sony for taking third parties lightly. Thank 360 owners for buying games, making it worth developers' time and money to put games on the console. Dead Rising and Lost Planet were huge sellers for Capcom, and RE 5 was all ready announced to be on its way to 360, now this sweetens the deal.
