And having a quick look at you cows' favourite website, Metacritic, I see that Forza Horizon 4 has a higher overall score than cow/industry favourites like Spiderman & Horizon Zero Dawn, and neck and neck with industry darlings God of War & Uncharted 4. So not doing too badly.
And the best is yet to come.
I mean, if we're being honest though, most of the perfect scores on Metacritic came from Xbox fan sites. Don't you want a game that the whole industry can say is great instead of getting boosted by the usual suspects? Spider-Man was enjoyed by the masses, while FH4 appeals to an extremely limited crowd. There's nothing with FH4 that can WOW anyone, due to the confining nature of racing gameplay. Yes, you can take a car offroad, but in the end, it's still a car.
Do you not think Xbox deserves a better caliber title than that? So you guys don't look at year end lists feeling left out and salty?
