Sony has failed this gen. They need to spend the rest of it just doing damage control. They don't have anything to catch up with.

I think its already widely accepted that the PS3 will never surpass the 360 this gen.

Games? Considering exclusives are so hard to come by, i think they are almost equal now. Doesnt change the fact that the 360 has a backlog though, many of which are still important such as Saints RowFirstDiscovery

unless sony can pull a 200ish sku out of their ***, and a better rpg lineup, they can kiss this gen goodbye. All the good games are scattered on all consoles, I still wouldn't be satisfied. I don't have high standards, I just want a good rpg lineup with reliable hardware. I told my friends that and they suggested I go back to the ps2 gen lmao.

Btw, the rpgs out right now are laughable. You would think out of the little rpgs that came out, most of them would be quality ones. Well, in my eyes they are at least. Others may disagree.

It's cuz of the stupid graphics war which caused this gen to crap out. High development costs and the bad economy are also possibilities i guess.

Even if "they aren't many" it's only fair to consider them :) as there are quality high selling hit games (gears, mass effect, graw, etc..) that falls under this category

I think the PS3 will only surpass the 360 when the next Xbox is released, and Sony support the PS3 for another couple years. Then PS3'll be better than 360, but we'll all be playing our 720s :Plocopatho

Graphics, well sir, if you think MGS is good looking, you wanna go to your local opticians.

Uncharted is pretty, not the best i've seen, but pretty . GT is nice loooking for a game with nothing going on.

PS3 only surpasses the Xbox in delays, it's got that to a fine art.

The 360 is always going to be cheaper then the PS3.

Most would agree that it will surpass it in late 2009, early 2010.

It seems many PS3 fans are just not going to accept the fact that their console is last this generation. Note to all of you: You are acting like gamecube fanboys, that console has lost. It doesnt make it bad, it just means it lost this generation, better luck next gen.

Whenever the next Xbox releases but even that isn't guaranteed.
