Whats the best game in Metro Trilogy?

First one. 2033 not Redux.

I've only played the first one and about halfway through the game I started to hate it, changing mask or canisters, pumping the compression for my weapons, and the same for the torch, real annoying, and the ending was stupid.

The first one has the best design.

the video is out of context. first game did have good level design.

almost 10 year old game and was incredibly atmospheric for its time.

although new one has best level design thanks to introduction to semi sandbox levels. but Metro series the people think so nichee that it manage to survive in last 10 years. if first game flop. we would not get past more entries. incredible, just incredible.

Metro Exodus.

Haven't played Exodus and probably never will. First one was better than Last Light. Pretty average videogame series overall.

2033 is still my favourite, I have finished it countless times and I'll be sure to play the game lots more.

Redux version is the best version of it anyway, because it adds many of the improvements from Last Light.

you are missing out alot. Exodus is excellent.

Exodus > Last Light >>> 2033

I didn't like 2033 all that much but LL was a huge improvement and Exodus was even better IMO

Exodus probably has worst story and characters in series. although story is still good but no nowhear near depressing and atmospheric as original games had.

last mission is easily best as its most atmospheric part in game.

I'll let you know when Exodus comes to Steam but between the first two I'm going with Last Light.

Either 2033 or Last Light. Exodus was a little underwhelming for me.

The first 2 sucked.

So by default, exodus is the least worst out of the 3.

Bad trilogy overall.

the first two were serviceable but, if you weren't all that impressed with the atmosphere and story, they leave a lot to be desired.

my pc likely isn't good enough to run exodus well. i'm waiting on a price drop for ps4 (still £50 on amazon)

Came in after reading title as best in metroid trilogy for some reason. Disappointed it's just another ghosts metro/doom thread

Exodus, found the previous games boring.

Metro Exodus was good but probably weakest of them, less worthy final chapter than Mass Effect 3 or Dead Space 3 was, but still I enjoyed it. For me an equal toss-up of first two games being my favorite, these games balanced and varied their level design better, Exodus did't really bring in supernatural elements until almost end of game and the open world design seemed unnecessary, they probably could have crafted a better game without it.

I will lean on Last Light being the better one, the original wasn't as polished when it first released (hit detection was awful), and they basically borrowed from it for the 2033 Redux for weapon modding and difficulty variance and gear. And the DLC add-ons were a lot of fun in Last Light.

Yeah does anyone have an answer for that?

I've mostly stayed away from these games because they seem really trashy honestly.

Last Light is the best. An expertly crafted and tailored experience. One of the best single player FPS campaigns I have played.

None of them are that good, but the first one is probably the best. just doesnt translate well.
