What March game(s) are you most looking forward to?

I will be way too busy playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but there are a lot of games coming out in March! Looking forward to the release of Unicorn Overlord, WWE 2k24, Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, and even, Prince Peach Showtime! What about you, SW? What March game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Didn't see anything else I want.

Just HFW PC is all I care about. Dragons Dogma 2 I'll pick up later this year. But I must admit, that game does look awesome.

Contra: Operation Galuga. I played the demo and loved it, so I'm probably going to love the full game.

Currently barely holding on to my sanity waiting for Horizon Forbidden West on March 21st.

Dragon's Dogma 2 and Tchia (which is coming out of EGS exclusivity) are also interesting, but they're going to have to wait until May at the earliest. No game exists right now that can compete for my attention. None.

Hmm, I see people mentioning Contra. Maybe I'm wrong about it, but it looks ass.

I love Contra, would be cool to get a new and good one.

Unicorn Overlord is the only one i'm getting day one, a few others later.

I'm curious about Alone in the Dark. I would prefer them to make their own characters, and not use real actors, but we'll see how it goes.

Horizon. I don't know if i'll get it in March though. May hold off for a few patches.

Star Wars: dark forces remastered. Never played the 1995 version.

The main one is Princess Peach: Showtime... Curious to see how it turns out.

@Pedro: I got it one year into this gen and mostly played PS4 games on it. It’s treating me pretty well. Knack is a game digital foundry jokes about a lot and I actually beat it and really enjoyed it.

Got a series X late last year too. BC support is just fantastic.

I'll probably play Dragon's Dogma 2 in like two years. Have 91 hours in the PC version of the original and many also in the PS3 version. But I haven't played it since 2016 and don't love it.

Its a game for kids, give me a break. When will you buy your first title made for adults? Nvm Nintendo doesn't make them.

Sure, Sony is in the pooper because of our Boy Jim Ryan, but because Sony has every single third party, and third party delivers way more quality than first party, it really doesn't matter. You're still getting superior titles on a PS5 compared to the Switch. And lets not forget, 2024 looks incredibly empty for the Switch. If the Switch 2 is really delayed to 2025, you're gonna be suffering for over a year with your Switch.

This is one of the biggest months for me in a very long time. I'm going to have to pick and choose because there are so many games I want, however I'm still going to get more than normal.

Several day 1 games I'll be getting include:

1. Dragons Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition

2. Rise of the Ronin Digital Deluxe Edition

2. MLB The Show 24 Digital Deluxe

4. Contra Operarion Galuga - played the demo and it was great. Definitely felt like the first 3 games which in my opinion are the best three games in the franchise.

5. Unicorn Overlord - I played both this and the FFVII Rebirth demo. One was great and one sucked ass, I'll give you a hint, I'm getting this one.

6. Crown Wars - although if a day 1 gets cut it will likely be this one and then I can pick this and King Arthur up on the same day when they go on sale... then again, I want it now.. lol. We'll see I guess.

These games probably wont be day 1, but I would like to get them eventually as well.

@Litchie: Having played the Contra demo I'd say give it a try man. Easily the best Contra since the first 3. The guns feel like Alien Wars and the movement, gameplay, and stage design is spot on with Contra and Super C. Feels like a Remake/Reimagining of those 3 games, and for me that's a good thing.

It is a real shame Dragon's Dogma 2 doesn't support co-op. A missed opportunity.

Looked at some more videos, and it does look like a solid Contra. Just thought the graphics looked really bad first time I saw it, so I just assumed they were making a crappy Contra again. But it does look pretty cool, and I can probably get over the visuals. Also not sure about there being both a dash and double jump. Hopefully it's not "Contra for noobs".

Dragon's Dogma 2 is either gonna flop or be GOTY, probably no in between lol. It looks like a mid 60s metacritic or a 93 metacritic.

Horizon Forbidden West - 98 hours on PS5 but you're damn straight HFW is gonna run on my 4090. Can't wait to see how it performs and if they actually have any graphical improvements over the 4K/40hz mode on PS5.

Rise of Ronin - not tooo hyped for this (I think this sub here highly overrates Team Ninja) but Team Ninja does make decent games with combat almost as good as From Software / God of War so I'll most likely buy this too.

If this were some random janky Japanese game yeah I could see Dragon's Dogma go either way. We've seen these janky RPGs many times in the past.

But I have every faith in it. Gameplay of DD2 looks tremendous. The vocations like wizard and warrior just speak out to me and I think the game is gonna be as kick ass as Capcoms recent games: RE 4 remake, Re 7, Village,

it's running on the same engine too so I'm plain excited to play it on PC. And starting using the standard tools to change things (DLAA, mod support, ...)

It's gonna be glorious. 10/10.

Interested in WWE 2k24 but will wait for a sale in a few months. The prices for games are crazy in 2024.
