What is your favorite Gamespot 10/10 of all time?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt !

Ocarina of Time, classic that never fails to deliver on my many replays through the years. I doubt I could say the same for any of the others given out in the last decade.

Bayonetta 2 or Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, followed by Mario Galaxy 2. The rest of those 10s have some sloppy gameplay, outside of Uncharted 4 which I haven't played yet.

It will more than likely be Super Mario Galaxy 2, followed by The Witcher 3, probably, then... I dunno.

Uncharted 4 definitely gets my vote. Lots of great games on that list though.

Hard to say. I love SMG2, Soul Calibur, Journey, MGSV, and Ocarina of Time, though.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 > Uncharted 4 > MGSV > Journey > THPS3 > Ocarina of Time

The rest I haven't played enough to judge, though GTA4 wasn't fun to play

I thought it was fantastic. A unique game that deserves it's place on that list. I voted for MGSV. We all have our own tastes and preferences.

For me, either Galaxy 2 or OoT. I voted Galaxy 2.

The Witcher 3 & Super Mario Galaxy 2 would be by 1 and 2. Uncharted 4 would be 3rd.

The Witcher 3 followed by Zelda for me

Bayo 2 is a revelation in action gameplay. The pure freedom and options really makes it the winner for me. For me its the ultimate in pure gameplay. Second for me goes to Galaxy 2. For me it does for platformers what Bayo 2 did for action games.

I always laugh every time I see that 10/10 for GTA 4. Of all the GTA games, that's the one you give the 10/10 to? They had to have been paid off for that review.

My answer is Ocarina of Time, but I haven't played Uncharted 4 yet.

MGSV, in spite of its shortcomings, or Journey

Despite having got the Witcher 3 free with my graphics card, the only game there I've really played is GTA4 - and that's why I ignore the idea of a game getting a "10"

Umm...well, I'm hoping for a Super Mario Galaxy 3, so I'm gonna vote for SMG2. Mario 3D World is good fun, but not galactic enough imo.

Voted SMG2 just because it's the tighter game all around.

Ocarina of Time.

SMG2. It is one of my favorite games of all time and it really was a 10.

I never played Soul Caliber and the Witcher 3 yet. As for the rest, none of them I would give a 10.

Vice City, San Andreas and V deserved 10's and didn't get them on here somehow but the weakest 3D entry in the series got the 10. Phantom Pain was no 10 either. It wasn't a complete game and barely had a story. A fvcking Metal Gear game with almost no story lol.

Witcher 3 actually deserved it, so that.

Chrono Cross, one of the earliest 10/10 from Gamespot isn't on your list. I pick that one.

Quite frankly I find Cross to be a superior game to Chrono Trigger. Rather replay Cross over Trigger any day.

GTA IV and MGS4. Beat both sooooo many times.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 by a long shot. I still play that game all the time. I only like a few other games on the list.

Chrono Cross is easily my choice. The review line said it best. "Had the largest heart"

My pick goes to Super Mario Galaxy 2.

As much as I love Metal Gear Solid V, it does eventually get repetitive, plus the cut content that would've tied up the plot's loose ends is also a major shortcoming.

Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't as amazing as I remembered, while it was the first one to introduce a modern control scheme, the game in-itself is just a homage to the first Metal Gear Solid, and isn't really unique like the others. Plus, the plot... fucking nano-machines.

With Uncharted 4, it's a good game, but aside from the visuals and the setting, it really doesn't introduce anything majorly new.

I remember it used to be a big deal when Gamespot gave out a 10, now they seem to do it quarterly...

Anyways of the games on the list, the only one I've played for more than a couple hours is Witcher 3, and I greatly enjoyed it. Thus I'd vote for Witcher 3, and doubly if you are including the expansion pass.

Haven't played all of those. Out of UC4, MGSV, GTA V and Witcher 3, easily Witcher 3.

The best games never get 10/10 scores, but of those choices, I'd pick Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Witcher 3 baby!

I don't really think any game is perfect. I feel like Ocarina is the closest game on the list to "perfect" so I elected that.

Me personally, it was easily The Witcher 3, that 10/10 was well deserved for its amazing universe, characters, storyline, gameplay and just the overall depth in the game which is far more advanced than any other game out there. Followed by Metal Gear Solid 4 for the same reasons as the Witcher 3 except to a lesser degree. I personally thought The Last of Us should have been a 10/10 so between TLOU and Uncharted 4, I prefer TLOU over Uncharted 4.

I have no fucking idea why Journey is a 10/10 game...It was a great artistic game but overall it is definately not in the same league as The Witcher 3, to give a game like Journey in a same comparable position as The Witcher 3 would be an insult. Though having said that, no game at present is in the league of The Witcher 3...

Ocarina/Bayo/Witcher not sure which I'd rank the best

GameSpot has a very disgusting list of 10s. Anyway, I prefer OoT between those.

I have not played enough of MGSV to make a final judgement on it yet, but I have a feeling it would end up in the top half of the list if I had.

GTA4. I don't get why so many people underrate this game. It's easily my favorite GTA after San Andreas.

Perfect Dark. Not a 10/10 but certainly better than all 10/10's GS has ever given.

Why have you omitted Soul Calibur & Chrono Cross from the list?

From the ones I've played on that list I would vote for Soul Calibur. Had I played Bayonetta 2 I probably would have voted for it.

thats a terrible list of 10/10's. The only one i can think of that got 10/10 and i loved was Chrono Cross. The games great, I never knew why people disliked it, but loved Chrono Trigger since they are both great games and have nice music and characters
