PS4, PS3, 360, SNES. Surprised 360 is behind PS3 at the moment both similar but I much preferred 360 as I could install stuff to hard drive every time.

It absolutely wasn't. It was a lottery as to whether or not you could install PS3 games to hard drive. Some games had the option, some didn't. 360 there wasn't a single game you couldn't install to hard drive. That's why I bought all multiplats last gen on 360.

Never realized that. I actually tended to avoid installs as much as possible, and I had stigmatized PS3 for having too many installs for my liking. Never realized the opposite was true.

Well, for me I hated watching PS3 accessing discs to load up the next level or whatever. Not just the load times but the noise lol. I got really annoyed when I bought a PS3 game then discovered it wouldn't install to HD and had to access the disc all the time.

Probably a side issue of being a PC gamer who never expects to counter these issues even on what for me was old technology back then.

All consoles have their pros and cons.

Snes is perhaps the most well rounded with amazing nintendo quality. It lacks in shooters, though, even if Pocky and Rocky gets overlooked. N64 has some of the most daring game design ever conceived to the point that things got toned down--maybe it is the console with the highest quality select library. There's a handful of n64 games which even to this day are ahead of their time.

Genesis is the same as snes in that it lacks in a few areas as well.

CD consoles? Eh.....the loading.

This gen Wii U by faaar. Wii U is my dreamcast, I think. Quirky, weird and chock full of gems.

All time? Backwards compatible Wii as a piece of hardware, but if we're talking library's and the eras when they happened, the gamecube.

It'll be crazy if NX ends up using SD cards or some quirky cartridges instead of discs. They can store enough data these days, esp. with how small Nintendo's game file sizes are.

Its hard, i actually prefer my Wii U, was gonna pick 3DS, Wii, or DS, but i got that love for Wii U, its an addicting console. 3DS also though since i play local coop with it a lot, but i play local coop a lot more on my Wii U.

I picked the PS3! In GT6, I can even sometimes pretend I'm playing Forza! (I can also pretend I'm playing GT4).

The Wii U is a solid second, only because it has much fewer games. A few upcoming ones may tip the balance, we'll see!

Gah, that's tough. It's between PS1/PS2/SNES (though I played a bunch of SNES games very late).

Carts are just plain better. More dynamic, faster, and allow for hardware/software upgrade. What's in the art could dictate a higher cost, etc. More reliable, too. Sometimes I don't understand what 50gigs is needed for, in most cases.

PS2, NES and N64

I chose snes becase of Contra, megaman, smw, street fighter, DK, and the countless hours I enjoyed these games with my brother. Nostalgia plays a big part as well.

Tough question think I'll go with the Vita or PS2

Mattel Intellivision. Tried to compete against the Atari 2600, was the 1st to provide great sports games and voice in games, the TRON series of games was the best ever movie tie in games....

Why no Sega CD option? Sonic CD was amazing and FMV games are so bad their good.

The SNES and N64. I bought them first over everything after my house burnt down. The Sega Gen. and DS/3DS are backing 'em.

Is a tough decision between the Genesis and PS1/2, i voted Genesis cause it was a happy time in my life and i had a small mountain of games for it.

Of all time? SNES.

I heart the Gamecube. It gets my vote. I still have it hooked up.
