What is the most popular gaming platform where you live?

PS3 and DS

Almost all of my friends are smart, so they game on the PC. A few actually upgraded to PC this gen.

Other than that I wouldn't know.I'm sure if I went to the local high school and asked all the 14 year olds what they play it'd be 360 or PS3

PC. In fact, I know 4 people who own consoles.

1 owns a Wii and PS2

2 owns a Wii and 360

3 owns a PS3 and DS

4 owns a PS3 and PSP

But they barely touch their console, since they play on PC mostly.

The Wii's definitely the most ubiquitous around my way,but the 360 probably gets the most hours put into it.

Xbox 360 and only the Xbox 360.

PS3 closely followed by 360.My school right now is PS3 dominant, used to be 360 dominant, the younger people (under 15) usually have XBOX's - most usually switch to PS3 after a while.icygangsta

Used to be the 360, then the Wii. Now its the PS3.

Actualy, most of the people I know that I talk games with perfer PS3. weird, I thought PS3 was shunned by the american people? lol.

PS3 with the 360 coming in at a close second and the Wii in dead last(only 2 people in my neighborhood own a Wii). It's pretty ironic how the more expensive console is the most popular console in my neighborhood considering Harlem isn't exactly known for it's wealthy residents.

"Xbox 360 has the best games, Wii is kiddy, Ps3 has no good games" is all you hear here. And like 90% of the games that they own are on the Ps3 xD

It's pretty much neck and neck between the PS3 and 360 where I am, with a few Wii gamers, and the odd PC gamer.

PC for sure. 360 + PS3 are basically tied, I know some groups that go 360 alone or PS3 alone and the Wii is pretty non-existent.

It´s mostly PC,even the stores have huge shelves with PC games,shelves much bigger than the console ones.

360, that's one of the main reasons I got it.

Haha. Lucky you. Where I live, there's one little shelf with a bunch of cheap PC games sitting there and that's it. :P

EXACTLY THE SAME WITH MY TOWN.

Xbox 360 - "It has the best games and the best graphics!!!"

Wii - "It is kiddy!"

"The graphics suck!"

PS3 - "It has no good games!"

"The graphics are worse!"

"The online sucks!"

PC - "The graphics on PC suck!" or "There's no good games for PC besides World of Warcraft!" or "Only no lifes play on PC!" or "There's too many hackers!"

It pisses me off. They defend the 360 religiously where I live, even though all they play is MW2, Halo 3 and sports games.

Oh boy, yes I am. EB Games. That's the Canadian equivalent.

The PS3. I could count my friends with 360s with one hand.

There are a lot of Wii60/PS2 only gamers where I live.

Most of the PS2 users I know are trying to upgrade to next gen eventually.
