Super Mario Sunshine.
Yeah same... but considering the Gamecube was my first Nintendo console I owned, I obviously haven't played a lot of the classics.
Also really liked Twilight Princess.

The same as the greatest game of all time, LTTP
Back when Zelda could still steal your "heart," containers.
A link between worlds was just ridiculously simple, really soured the experience for me. I missed that pastel hand painted style alttp had as well, that quasi 3d shit was hideous.
you're a sour person in general though
Ocarina of Time. Honorable mentions: Metroid Prime, Super Mario 64 and Kirby: Canvas Curse. The latter never gets mentioned, but the game is just loaded with creativity and, to date, is the game that's made the best use of the dual- and touch-screen format.
Best? Super Metroid
My fav? Metroid Prime: Echoes
Picking my fav was easy, picking the best was tougher, those N64 Zeldas, the Mario Galaxy games, the first Metroid Prime. It was tough but I'm confident in my pick.
they really need to remake Ocarina of Time and i dont mean the shitty little 3ds version, i want it on wii u with good graphics like wind waker. remake that and remake majora mask + metroid trilogy + new zelda and i will buy wii u.
no Earthbound love makes me sad. I would like to see more modern dayish rpgs released
earthbound/mother never got enough love outside of japan for many to really take notice. the only way for most of us to play mother 3 is technically illegal, isn't it?
Obviously Super Metroid followed closely by A Link to the Past.
Nah, flip that :-3

My personal favorite, or the best of all time? I'd say my personal favorite is Link to the Past, most likely. However, the best of all time would either go to Super Mario Bros or Mario 64 as they paved the way for two of the most popular genres to ever grace the gaming scene. Numbers don't like, and the number of games influenced by these two is staggering.
Seriously, LTTP is way overrated. Zelda: The Minish Cap is the best Nintendo game of all time. It's underrated, too.

Ooh boy, what did I do to make you mad? lol.

Making a small joke is being mad now? Sure you're not projecting your sourness on other people?

I wasn't aware you were capable of humor. You get to learn something new everyday around here.
The 3d in link between worlds awesome and really popped out of the screen. Outside of some of the dungeons being short it is in no way simple and wall merging mechanic just added to the puzzles in many ways
Needless to say it got goty for a reason, easily the best zelda since the n64 era
Not a Nintendo game.
it is. it was on SNES
Being on a Nintendo system doesn't make it a Nintendo game, are you daft? Is Call of Duty also a Nintendo game, since it's on Nintendo systems? Is Skyrim a Sony game?
Contra III was developed and published by Konami. Nintendo had nothing to do with it.
but nintendo was publisher.
back than there was no such thing as third party multiplatform games. only first party games were released.
Don't ask me why I'm bothering, but...
There were third party multiplatform games in that era.
I have to go for the original Pikmin personally, but there are so many good options here
-Super Metroid being a design masterpiece
-Metroid Prime being a masterpiece in immersion and video game story telling.
-Yoshi's Island being one of the best platformers of all time
-Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze being the best platformer of all time
-Super Mario 3D world being the best 3d platformer of all time
They are still some of the best developers in the industry

My brain hurts from reading this.
Ocarina of Time is the best one for me.
This game is flawless.
no. what makes you think its flawless??
Ocarina of Time >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Half Life 2.
Half Life 2 is too girly.
Probably Super Mario Bros:The Lost Levels since it was the only challenging mario platformer. I wish they would increase the difficulty of modern Mario games.
Contra 3
Easily best and only product from nintendo i enjoyed, dunno why..
The TC is talking about games made by Nintendo. Not just any SNES game. But I agree that Contra 3 was good. It was always fun trying to beat Contra games without dying on hard mode. Once you memorize the attack patterns it became easy. Same with Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Super Punch Out. Once you memorize the attack patterns you can beat them without getting hit once. I'd like to see a Contra 5 to bring back that Nostalgia..
