What is Microsoft/Nintendo's Answer to Day's Gone?

An epic zombie Apocalypse game fully open world with rain an tons of zombies on screen.

Dead Rising isn't serious like days gone and Nintendo just has nothing like it.

Day's Gone is just amazing I don't care what score it got its just amazing man. Please answer this game or your just crap imo. PC has games like it so I won't call them out.

It was called state of decay 2 and it was bland and got old fast - like Days Gone appears to be and do (although to be fair, after putting too much time into SoD2 I do think Days Gone looks a lot better)

In Nintendo's case, it's better games.

Lol... sounds very similar to Xbox owners who said they really liked Sea of Thieves/SoD2/Crackdown 3, even though the scores were average... but cows said "b-b-b-but the scores LOLZZZZ".

I find it weird that Victor Lucas from epndottv gave it a 9.5/10 and happyconsolegamer also from youtube gave it a 8.5/10. I don't know who to believe since I think those guys are often trustworthy.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it though since I don't care about Days Gone. Too scary for me, the scariest game I'll play is Dead Island.

State of Decay 2 wasnt much better, but at least ms knew it and released it as a budget title. Sony pushing this as a AAA is painful to watch.

For MS, State of Decay 2 takes the cake and as fr Nintendo, not much to say cause they know how to make a good game. Of course, when it comes to Zombie games, the close you could say is, ZombiU but at least that game got a 7/10.

The games themselves are terrible, and Nintendo certainly isn't a developmental juggernaut that pumps out excellent games again and again.

Hell, the Switch can barely handle PS1 games, so it basically qualifies as a happy meal toy rather than a serious gaming console.

The sheep must be *devestated* that they'll never get a game as good as Days Gone from our god-king Sony.

The salmon run in Splatoon 2 is not really zombies but fairly similar, you're fighting hordes of enemy salmonids.

@sealionact: having played both games Days Gone is much more a complete and solid experience.

SoD2 is fun in bits, but the pricing reflected what it was and it was accurate. Same goes for DG.

It's interesting to watch somebody who's been on this board for over a decade show almost no sign of change. Protoss has been making the same dumb threads for years. How has it not gotten old/how have they not grown up even a little bit?

As someone who's been posting here since 2004, I'd like to think my posts are reflective of someone who's at least grown a little bit and gained more perspective than I had when I was 14.

Nintendo doesnt need answers for generic titles like Days Gone. Seriously its literally the combination of TLOU and usual open world tropes(with a sprinkle of dying light)

I hope none, this tired formula of post-apocalyptic games with zombies or zombie-like creatures is what the industry DOES NOT need right now. I think part of the negative score is due to that.

MS state of decay 2 which I enjoyed Nintendo don't really have a game in that genre from the top of my head. Probably an indie type game.

Nintendo's answer... Have another Mario game.

Microsoft's answer... Gears, Forza, Halo.
