What if the GOTY wasn't a PS3 exclusive (Edit: Now that ME3 is out, now what?)

There are and have been so many PS3 exclusives lined up for 2011, that I think the chances of one of their exclusives winning are pretty high, but what if a multi-platform game or a PC exclusive wins, what would your reaction be?

Edit:So now that ME3 is out, which would have been my choice for GOTY off of reputation alone, does that give greater odds to the PS3?

I don't think it will be a PS3 exclusive personally. Pretty sure Mass Effect 3 is going to take it, that or Skyrim.

Yeah but back then PS3 actually hardly had any exclusive games. 360 has exclusive games just not allot of new ones coming out.

The only one with a remote chance is Uncharted 3 which actually may have a very good chance at it.flexin007

I remember way back to 2010 when the GOTY and highest rated PS3 game wasn't a PS3 exclusive. The PS3 version was even inferior to the rival console.

The majority of PS3 gamers, like myself, own the other console so it wasn't a travesty. However, the minority who only own a PS3 acted like 2010's GOTY never happened. Like it was some sort of dimensional fluke via the Twilight Zone.

I don't see why people would be surprised when Zelda takes home GOTY, but people have seven months to get their feelings in order if they feel negatively about it.

Actually, the Game of the Year may very well be a non-PS3 exclusive, with Deus Ex: Revolution, Battlefield 3, RAGE, The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim, etc. all coming out. I think the only PS3 exclusive that might win is Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (and maybe Infamous 2?).

A PS3 exclusive probably isn'tgoing to be GOTY this year. Not with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mass Effect 3, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim coming out.
