What games are on your radar for 2019?

We're just about here, SW. Another great of gaming coming up. We're aware of some of the bigger games that have release dates already, but are there other games that are on your radar? I'm interested in the Catherine Remake. I never played the original, and so I think this is a great opportunity to play the game since I think Atlus will do it right. I'm also looking forward to learning more about Ghost of Tsushima. Hopefully we'll see some solid gameplay videos this year. Am also interested in the Panzer Dragoon remakes. Never played the originals.

What about you, SW? What games are on your radar for 2019?

Yeah, Tsushima looks very interesting. Sony is on a pretty hot streak last couple of years.

Sekiro looks great from a gameplay pov (more so than Tsushima tbh), very much looking forward to that game as well. A more fas paced Souls game perhaps.

Then DMC V. Not a lot of quality Hack'nSlash these days.

Doom Eternal: A bit worried it will be too much "more of the same". Last one was great though, so no disaster.

Finally Red Dead, which haven't played yet. Probably what I will start with next year.

Tales of Vesperia, Persona 5R, Ace Combat 7, KH3. Almost all is in January, my money its gone. Dont give a dang about others unless it is TLoU 2, not sure if it can manage a 2019 release.

Sekiro, DMC 5 and Doom Eternal as mention above.

Add Ori and The Wisp, Code Vein, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieve Arena, Kingdom Hearts, Anthem, Battletoads are the others that come to mind.

• Crash Team Racing remake or Team Sonic Racing (I will probably only buy whichever one ends up being the better of the two since they will probably otherwise be very similar)

Metro Exodus is what Im expecting it to be one of the best FPS ever because it looks so damn amazing. easily my most wanted game of 2019. and its finally coming out next month.

Doom Eternal is sequel to best FPS this decade and looks to be one of the best game of 2019 by evolving Doom formula into Hell on Earth.

Dying Light 2 looks to be one of the most immersive game of 2019.

Atomic Heart if it release next year can turn out to be a best mix of Metro and System shock.

Rage 2 looks to be pure fun open world FPS by avalanche and id software assisting them.

The Outer worlds looks to be a great FPS/RPG hybrid and bound to be better than anything fallout has ever done.

Resident Evil 2 Remake looks a great survival Horror game and extending on RE7 Engine and can become best RE game.

Shenmue 3 can be interesting game to conclude a saga.

and Obviously Red Dead Redemption 2 will finally hit on PC and obviously will be better than console counterparts.

@davillain-: Jump Force is multiplatform. When did that game become exclusive?

@ghosts4ever: Yu Suzuki stated Shenmue 3 would not complete the saga/story. It would take at minimum a 4th installment and would still require cuts in the story. For the full Shenmue saga/story to be revealed in a game sense would require 5 total games.

Here's hoping.

yu suzuki does say you fight Lan Di in game. i dont think we have to wait for 2 more decades for shenmue 4 and 5. lan di saga will finish or else they will move on to another story.

@davillain-:Interesting that they are making a Talos Principle 2. I played a little bit of the original this year, and it seemed interesting.

@Telekill: I'm a Shenmue 3 backer too. I actually just finished the 1st one (HD) this past week, and am working through the 2nd one now. I'm hyped for it!

@ghosts4ever: With THQ Nordic partnering with YsNet and ZERO out of pocket from Sega to make this happen, I would imagine development on Shenmue 4 has already been greenlit.

The fact that you will possibly fight Lan Di doesn't mean he will be beat and justice will be served. How many times in other games do we see the main bad guy get away...

@ghosts4ever: Shenmue III will definitely not be the end of the story, whether they make more games or not after it. I also fully expect Ryo to get his ass thoroughly kicked by Lan Di, plus it's very likely that Niao Sun will be the main villain of this game.

even though i was a huge fan of early remedy titles Max payne and also really liked Alan wake.

Control looks like they forgot what made thier games good. it looks like very generic third person action game. they should have done either Alan wake 2 or some successor to Max Payne.

Ace Combat 7 and maybe the RE2 remake.

Total War: Three Kingdoms and Doom Eternal both quickly come to mind. I don't think Bethesda Game Studios has anything planned for 2019... But I'm hopeful for Starfield. Even if Fallout 76 was a swift kick to the gut.

If I had a PS4 I'd definitely be interested in Ghost of Tsushima. Control and AoE 4 have also great potential judging by how good some of their predecessors were.

Remedy would love to make Alan Wake 2, but they prolly need someone to give them 30 million dollars so they can make it.

Control looks really good. I love every single Remedy game ever made. They can't make a bad game in my eyes.

No idea if Age 4 will be a 2019 title, but I'm sure we'll get to see the game next year at least ^^

I got my eye on Atomic Heart, I hope Days Gone is decent, Gears 5, Sekiro, DMC 5, and I CAN'T WAIT for the RE2 remake. Hopefully some other stuff will get announced.

Definitely Mechwarrior V. It's been a while since I played a Mechwarrior game. I considered Titanfall 2. But, I want something long. I don't care if I have to grind so long as I'm blasting away at something.
