Thanks to PSN, I have a bunch of ps1 games available on my Vita. Right now the games i'd like to get to are Suikoden and Alundra. Then hopefully Suikoden 2. How about you, SW?

Recently replayed Super Metroid and it was every bit as excellent as I remembered it. Replayed Mario 64 a few months back and I still think it's some of the best shit in gaming. I also replayed Spyro 1 recently too. Love that game. I'm currently playing the Metal Slug games on MAME. MAME is the best emulator hands down.
Witcher 2 in preperation for Witcher 3. It's a good game but not a great one. I think Witcher 3 will be the Witcher game they always wanted to make. I just need to stop watching videos of it and driving myself mad but it looks sooo good.
GTA5 on PC.
lol nice one
OT: Finished ICO on the PS2 two days ago and before that Killer7 also on PS2

$105 With all the original cables, two controllers, five Genesis games, five Sega CD games and the original box.
:)
Secret of Evermore, Seiken Densetsu 3, Landstalker (genesis), and Final Fantasy 3.
Does Gamecube count as retro now? Because I've been playing the jeebus out of Tales of Symphonia.

Worth it. Very worth it.
Castlevania series. Starting with the NES games. I beat Castlevania 1 on 3DS using, uh, restore points (save states). Because ****, I wouldn't want to play these games without save states. I couldn't imagine that.
I'm playing the inferior console version of GTA V(online), but I want to play Simcity 4 and Pokemon Black 2 again.
Nothing right now, but I've been meaning to play Legend of Dragoon and Suikoden 1/2, as well as finish Final Fantasy IV.

I beat Castlevania 1 on the NES way back in the day it took me 4 years. Every so often I would pick the game up and play until I was finally able to finish it. To this day it's one of the hardest game I ever played. There were no save states every time I played I had to start at the beginning. Todays games are so easy compared to back then. Even Dark Souls is a walk in the park compared to NES games.

Yeah, the Souls games are nothing compared to Castlevania 1 & 3. Definitely two of the hardest games ever made. Congrats on beating the original game without save states, I think that's an achievement in itself.
@princeofshapeir:
I remember the day I beat CV3, I walked outside and screamed lol. That shit was brutal, especially for a kid. I think I was like 7 or 8 years old. Everyone talks about how hard the Ninja Gaiden games were on NES, but I beat each of those they day I got them. CV was the real shit.
If you're really feeling like a masochist, check out Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight on NES. It's one of those underrated gems, actually plays better than most NES action side scrollers. It's fucking brutal though.
Dabbled in some Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) on my Wii U's VC. A few weeks back played RE HD REmaster through a few times.
Been playing A Link to the Past for the first time. It certainly holds up pretty well, not getting slammed with reams of dialogue like in the 3D ones is certainly nice. Thanks to A Link Between Worlds its all oddly familiar despite obviously being a much different game at its core.
Finished Ys 6 tonight. Pretty much anything from that series released in English, even 1 and 2 for historical value, is top tier. The pacing has some issues, a bit too much grinding for my tastes, and the fucking dash jump are the only complaints in an otherwise great game.
Been going through Super Mario Galaxy recently. The game is fantastic and the hype is warranted, except for one major thing; the difficulty. For most of the game its a cakewalk to the point of it could be someones first game. Then you hit the odd level where you feel like someone was just having a bad day and make it difficult as ****. I hate that in games. Either have a nice steady curve or keep it consistently easy/difficult for the whole game.
been playing Super Mario 64 on the Wii U, and damn, people definitely weren't kidding about the camera...
I've been playing quite of bit of older games lately. I have been playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life on PCSX2 and Magical Melody on Dolphin. I also recently finished a hard mode playthrough of Snake Eater HD on 360. On top of that, I've been playing Battlefield 2 through the fanmade battlelog (much better than playing on game ranger).
obligatory LOL VITA,
but I don't know if it'd qualify as classic, but I'm playing mario and luigi superstar saga for the GBA
@SolidGame_basic:
Actually I am not playing any classic game right now. which is strange to me as I usually am. With the recent release of great games and sales, and "Classic Like" games such as Pillars of Eterinity, and classics in the making "Bloodborne.... there has been no reason to play classic games. Although I have around 300+ in my backlog.
Also playing Tales of Hearts R, and sorcery saga on vita, plus Etrian Mystery dungoen on 3ds. Really disapointed in the Etrian, as the rest of the series is great, rogue likes aren't meant for parties though.
The oldest game I am playing now is Tales of Xillia on my ps3.
