Not getting anything. Unemployed because of the pandemic, need to save as much as possible.

Just upgraded the PC, no plans for at least 3 years, not really bothered if PS5 is more powerful, mostly be boring movie games no interest in.

Right now my plans for this year are just to by the Xbox Series X. I will get a PS5 sometime in the future though and I already have a Switch. I’ve been contemplating on getting a retro system, particularly one those that play NES and SNES games but not sure if I’ll do it this year so just left that off for now.

Nothing to speak of really. I went with "Going to buy/upgrade PC" as far as I'll do this year but I really don't have any plans to upgrade Nvidia RTX 30XX series and my 2070 is serving me well, I may not bother upgrading GPU. Ryzen 4000 series on the other hand.

I'll be purchasing PS5 sometime in the future.

I don't know because no launch games announced, besides, it's kind of difficult to make plans considering the situation right now.

Certainly will buy the ps5 in its first year.

As for pc, my two ryzen ( 2700/3600X) rigs coupled with a 1070 gpu serve my needs so...

No plan of upgrading them anytime soon.

Either upgrade or move off windows, ampere isn't released until Q3/Q4, have plenty of time to decide. PS5 can wait at least another 12 months from release.

Just stick to PC and upgrade it if it need to be.

no interest in next xbox which may be best console compare to other but its not really a console per say but just a mini pre build PC and thier games are best to be played on PC and that also include flagship title Halo.

no interest in nintendo because all they make is childish kiddy games.

If Nintendo releases a Switch "Pro", that'd be the first thing I get (but I highly doubt that'll happen).

Otherwise XsX will be day 1 for me (If it isn't delayed).

I'll probably get the cheapest at launch then the other further down the line. I never buy both day one.

Probably Nothing. My pc is more than capable for current games, I have a Switch and ps4, and I'm not going to buy one of the new consoles day 1. So I'm all locked and loaded for the time being

Wow I would of thought that the most powerful console ever created would be leading in the polls, but wow was I wrong. I guess power doesn’t mean anything , if there isn’t any good exclusives for it, especially within the first year :(

Upgrading my laptop. I got a good 6 years out of my MSI GT72S but I made up my mind that when the next generation of laptops come out and exceed my current laptop by 100% in terms of power, I'd upgrade. My current laptop no longer being able to play graphic intensive games without crashing/completely shutting off also telling me its time to upgrade. Looking to purchase a laptop with a GTX 2070 Super but probably won't be doing so til the end of May...

Probably a new GPU. Got lazy about upgrading my home PC when I stopped freelancing. Feels meh going from sli 2080ti's at work to a 1080ti at home lol. Starting to show its age with the texturing software I use.

Might spring for a new primary monitor as well. Still love my BenQ for fast paced games, but my primary monitor for visualization is dated.

Any new console strictly depends on the exclusives, probably gonna be a while, if ever.

Gonna upgrade my pc gaming chair, Steelcase is on sale for $750.

Yeah, lots of people underestimate the importance of a good chair. I have a Herman Miller Aeron at home and at the office, definitely my favorite chair.

Steelcase Leap is good shit too though, definitely one of the better ones I've tried.

No clue. With the world shutting down we dont even know if PS5 will get canceled. It hasnt even been revealed yet. Hard to want a console when nothing is shown except weaker specs than Xbox. I just keep stacking up on better older games..

Wait for news on AMD/Nvidia next gen card to see if its which ver is good upgrade from my old 1060 6gb and probably PS5 sometime later (day 1 if they announce Bloodborne 2, do it Sony)

The same for me. I wonder how many of us in System Wars are currently unemployed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The stay-at-home orders and shutdowns have greatly affected the ability of people to work and pay their bills.

Gonna buy a new graphics card when the city shutdown is over. Probably jump at a RTX 2070 Super, but I might also wait for Ampere. 65-35 right now.

the pc engine and turbographix 16 is the one im getting. I had one when i was a kid but never got the cd attachment and it has a lot of those games on it.

for this year just getting a PS5. i never bothered with the PS4 so i have some catching up to do there. I don't know if i will get it at launch though...i will see how it goes.

i have an itch to upgrade my PC but now is a really bad time imho. my 1500X and Vega 64 are doing the job just fine so its more just i want something new and shiny rather than a practical reason to upgrade.

Have the switch and a solid monitor and VR and a good mouse. the keyboard is basic but odes the job....not much in the peripherals front.

so yeah....not really a hardware year for me to be honest. even the PS5 purchase will probably be next year unless it's readily available around Christmas and i decide to treat myself.

Waiting on some new GPUs to launch to warrant an upgrade from my GTX1080.

seems unlikely that will happen this year so likely next year I'll do some upgrading and finally get a 4K TV once I have a GPU that can power games at that resolution at a reasonable frame rate.

I'll likely get a PS5 at some point but unlikely it'll be this year.

going to wait 2 years after series x releases to grab one, my PC is more than enough right now, and ps4 switch backlog is heavy. Tbh enough games released this gen I havent played to
