I've been playing Yakuza 3 Remastered and really enjoying it. I have only a few chapters left and then I may go straight to Yakuza 4. I also want to get back to playing Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I may get Ghost of Tsushima this weekend, but I may just hold off to finish these game first. What about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

Desperados 3.

If I play it will be Control. It’s pretty good, I’m a Remedy fan. Gameplay is pretty interesting and fast paced. Plays somewhat similar to Doom, but I think Doom does it better. The universe they have created is cool with a fair bit of Remedy humor and absurdity sprinkled in. I wish they didn’t drown you in datalogs though. The motel puzzles are awesome.

I recently beat that game. It was cool, but the combat got really repetitive and annoying for me lol. Too much running around.

I'm on the verge of finishing guacamelee super turbo championship edition. After this I'm most likely going to play the second one.

Plague Tale: Innocence and Persona 4G

Inaros Prime just came out on Warframe, so I'm still busy farming for that. Also farming Steel Essences for that sweet Dax armour. Three relics down, eight to go, but if I could just get a few more Liths and Mesos, I could cut 75% of the grind and give me more time to do other things.

If I have some gaming time left, I'll probably spend it on Civilization VI. They say money can't buy happiness; well, if you're Mansa Musa, then it can at least certainly buy everything up to just short of that.

Ghost of Tsushima and maybe Monster Hunter Iceborne. I’m very close to finishing Trails of Cold Steel 2. I’ll see if I can finish that too.

I'll probably put a bit of time in Sonic 4 on the X1 and Titanfall 2.

@SecretPolice: I'm 3 hours in - I love it so far. Kind of LTOU-ish but in a very fresh setting. Makes me imagine what my French ancestors surely went through ;-)

Playing some Kerbal Space Program again. Game is as fun as ever.

Tried out some space welding with Hardspace: Shipbreaker. If you haven't tried it out yet, it's a pretty neat puzzle game where you play an astronaut decommissioning old space ships by welding them apart. Sounds lame, but in practice it is really cool.

And I will probably work on my city in Cities: Skylines. I tend to get "restart fever" where I will get an hour or two into a city, find something I don't like, then start over. This time I'm sticking with the same one! haha.

Probably one of my top 10 games from last year (I think it was 2019).

The gameplay is simple, but elegant and satisfying. The use of the sling, sneaking around, the puzzles that require your brother or other characters.

And it is a beautiful game on top of it. The story and characters are all engrossing. I thought the little brother would drive me insane, but he was so sweet and empathetic I wanted to hug him. The sister seemed like a bit of a princess at first, but she was super brave and driven and strong.

And the rats! God, the rats were terrifying. That first time when you get to the church in the beginning of the game. Crazy.

It's not a perfect game, but frankly I can't think of any flaws.

I may finally finish Greedfall. I have been playing it all week.

Picked up Beyond a Steel Sky. Pretty good so far... Been a while since I played a proper adventure game.

FFVII: Remake, SoR4, and Fight'N Rage.

Finishing up TLoU 2 and I just picked up American Truck Sim on Steam

Fortnite, Just Dance 2020, Madden and probably some Splatoon 2. Aka what my 5 year old wants to play

Sadly, nothing. I'm picking up Ghost today after work but it's going to be Monday before I can start it.

Portal 2 and 2 point hospital. Just picked up beyond a steel sky there too...bit of a random one but could be interesting.

A part of me wants to start stellaris. another part of me is thinking "try and get some more low hanging fruit completed first".

Calling out sick tomorrow and will mostly focus on finishing up Shadow of War before my next work stretch. If my friend has time, maybe more Division 2.

Recently downloaded Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX on the Xbox One so will probably play a bit of that. On the Switch it’ll be more Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Dragon Quest XI: S Definitive Edition.

I started my first playthrough with Okami this week. Great game so far.

Unexpected things I like: the game ventures into the weird, and weird is good.

Unexpected things I don't like: the horny dude-bro humor. It feels way out-of-place in an otherwise crafty game.

Issun is a horny little rascal. He gives great comic relief. Never heard such weird complaints about him before.

Didn't think I'd like the game as much as I did, great story. And I was really invested in Conor, Kara and Markus.

You're hearing it now. The majority of the female characters in the game are objectified by dude-bro comic relief. I was not expecting boob physics either.

It's just a throw-off in a game that has a lot of artistic beauty with Japanese folklore.

I'd expect this type of humor in a game like No More Heroes, because that's the stage it's always had.

With Japanese mythology, I hear "babe" this, "babe" that. It feels like the game tries too hard to talk like a horny western teenager, and it gets annoying because it's out-of-place with everything else.

I would have preferred the game take itself much more seriously.

The horny stuff was just not something I was expecting before going in, so it kinda just threw me off.

There's a lot more to love about the game. To me Okami is like a mix between a Zelda game and a Studio Ghibli film. I love that stuff.

I love the environmentalist themes too.

Some of the weirdness is actually awesome. I was not expecting there to be an area in the game where you shrink down and you have to avoid human giants, going inside the emperor to fight off his gastric illness. I look forward to all the stuff I've yet to see.

Trying to plat TLOU2.

@jaydan: As far as I remember (been a very long time since I played) there's very little of the silly bro talk from chatty little bug Issun. The game is super long, and imo the only legit criticism about the game is the lack of difficulty. Personally I didn't care because it was full of charm.

Well that's probably the problem: Issun is like a more annoying Navi, and Issun never stops chatting.

I'm gonna focus on Ghost of Tsushima cause that game as of now is very beautiful in all its Feudal Japan goodness. This game is way more fun than I had for TLOU2.

Loving it so far... the City they built is fun to explore. Getting major Westworld vibes.
