Lol not only that, you run a cabaret club 😄

any other answer than STALKER is wrong.

The Yakuza series is the obvious winner here.

Multiple games end with varying numbers of muscle-bound shirtless men pummelling each other on the roof of an exploding building.

The latest one even features a stark naked brawl. It doesn't get more manly than that.

They should re-release some retro golf titles with the digitized graphics like they had on my papas pc. I’m pretty sure the 1999 game on psone still had those. 36 Great Holes with Fred Couples HD Directors Cut Online

@SolidGame_basic:

Doom 2016 and Eternal - Safe bet. Guns and demons with heavy metal music.

Mortal Kombat - Generally a nonsensical fighting inspired by old kung-fu movies. Lately they gotten a lot better.

Wreckfest - Racing cars and smashing them into each other in demolition derbies. Not to mention racing COUCHES on wheels.

Call of Duty - Who doesn't love randomly shooting players for no reason other than repetitive game objectives? And how about those 5 maps that cycle over and over? (I hate CoD, in case you can't tell.)

Twisted Metal - I can't think of anything manlier than cars launching missiles at each other in large arenas. It's kinda like a combination of bumper cars with explosions and gatling guns. The ps3 game added extra modes like Deathrace and Detonator.

Og God of War - Basically a 3rd person Doom with Greek monsters instead of demons. The fatalities were cool and then you got a main character that screams from the top of his lungs constantly and resembles the lead singer of Disturbed with white and red skin and a....kilt? Shame you could never get a good look at those muscles though. Unfortunately the og GoW was allergic to close camera angles.

Well, I know there are more but that's all I'm willing to name at the moment.

I don't know if Halo counts as manly. I get the army game aspect but the sci-fi theme is kind of universally likeable.

No probs, Halo is my canned answer to everything that's great. lolol :P

And seriously, Halo has always been a very visually colorful shooter that appealed to a wide audience even Nintendo type fans, unlike many of the darker more grittier shooters out there.

My favorite one was 2010. Played alot of 2010 with my buddies. Can play with one controller and pass it around. Tiger woods games were great drinking games. But 2010 imo was the best one because if you nailed the drive above 100% power it would do this cool slow mo shot and then the camera would track behind the ball after you hit it. We would flip shit everytime it happened lol

Definitely the first Metroid... I'm playing it for the first time and the main character guy is shredding this map. He's super manly with his gun and his missles. I can tell the ending is gonna be great!

No such thing. At the end of the day, there’s nothing manly about a guy holding a controller in his hand and staring at a screen. There’s nothing inherently masculine about it. We’ve turned child’s play into an adult hobby. Now, I will say that, since men have better spatial intelligence, then perhaps you could judge a game’s manliness on how well it utilizes that spatial intelligence, but no matter the content of a game, it’s not “manly.” It’s just a game.

And if anyone gets any sense of feeling masculine from playing a game, I would highly encourage that person to find other mediums through which to express his masculinity. When I play video games, I feel more like a child, a boy, no matter how gruff the lead character, how many guns, or how much blood and gore is involved.

Actually, I changed my mind. All this talk of Metroid made me realize that any game wherein you control a woman and make her obey your every command with a button is manly, so I agree with Metroid, but also any game that lets you control women.

Duke3D, it's so manly the gaming press tried to re-write history and proclaim it's a bad game.

When I was a kid, Blood'n'Guts and Barbarian were the manliest games available. We were all awestruck by their sheer brutality and manliness.
