What 2016 games are candidates for a 10/10?

Depends of who review them, but with what I have seen, none of them; but my candidates for goty 2016 as today are; persona 5, uncharted 4, zelda if makes the cut, dark souls 3 and the last guardian; with the new nier and horizon:zero dawn as runner ups.

I doubt Persona will ever get a 10/10; however, Persona 3 & 4 have been 10/10 in my eyes, and this game will be the reason I get a PS4.

Uncharted, possibly. I felt largely Naughty Dog and Uncharted was a proxy for Sony fanboys and fanboys in gaming journalism to prop up the console, being as the PS4's success isn't as reliant on propping up such games then I think it's less likely, but still possible. I wasn't much of a fan of previous entries in the series but this one does actually look like it could be good if it's a more solid shooter.

Last Guardian, doubtful, games that get delayed typically don't amount to peoples growing expectations and even if that's not an issue people still tend to resent the wait. Plus, I have to question even now just how involved Fumito Ueda has been on this, and then there were the other senior staff on the project that jumped ship to make social network and mobile games (ouch!). But, I'm curious nonetheless.

Legend of Zelda... yeah, I can see a 10/10, scores are less about a games merits and more about fickle nature of the mob and gaming politics. LoZ will be both a farewell to the Wii U who managed to at least salvage a semi-respectable line-up of games despite the adversity that would have cause any other company to pack up and quit the gaming business. And I'm sure it'll be the selling point of the NX too, and I'm sure on something at least as poweful as the PS4, if not more powerful by then, this game is going to shine.

Anyhow, I'll guess:

• Dark Souls III - Games like MGS keep getting overrated because they're supposed to be the last, MGS4 was shit but hey it was supposed to be the dignified farewell so I can see why all the pretentious ass-kissing took place. Then again with MGS5:TPP, which from what I played is quite good but again I think the gaming politics and awareness of Kojima's departure from Konami being publicized before release had an effect on critical reception. Dark Souls III supposedly being the big farewell to these games, I somewhat suspect (not motive) but a foreseeable reaction by gamers towards its release as one of the utmost praise, largely on account of this being the last one.
• Mass Effect 4, I figure with the success of the Shepard trilogy, this game is either going to live up to peoples expectations, or fall spectacularly flat on its face. This being an EA game I feel that's even more true, either they have to hit it out of the park or "evil fucking EA this and that..."

That makes no sense- no developer ever has a history for making 10/10 games, until they do. Rockstar had never made one until GTA4, Konami had never had one until MGS4, Platinum had never had one until Bayonetta 2, and CD Projekt RED had never had one until The Witcher 3. Uncharted and Persona can easily get their 10/10s, assuming the presumed level of quality- a little harder in Uncharted's case due to diminishing returns kicking in, but the point stands nonetheless.

None of those games you listed will ever get a 10/10

• I have a feeling that Zelda U could be worst than Skyward Sword, knowing Aonuma, he likes all the puzzles in the game and will keep adding more puzzles to it.
• Last Guardian has been in development hell for a very long time. If this game gets delayed again, how can this outdated game ever achieve a 10/10?
• Really? Persona 5? A game that is extremely niche and destine to bomb in sales? Maybe it has a higher chance scoring a 9/10, but will never reach the greatness of the Witcher 3! (/sarcasm)

Well, there goes my opinion, and now that Kevin Van Ord left, I don't think their will be another 10/10 in GS for quite a while.

Uncharted 4 and Zelda are prime candidates of course. If Rise of the Timed Raider can get a 9/10 then a 10/10 should be easy.

NieR too since it looks MUCH better than Bayo 2.

It'll get 8/10... Will be surprised if it gets 9, but definitely not 10. But it won't stop it from being an amazing game like previous games from Remedy...

Remedy means quality.

NieR looks stupid! Bayo 2 is completely different genre!

Is FFXV coming out next year? I could foresee it getting 10's.

Can't think of anything that looks 10/10 for me, unless Project Diva makes it west.

Yeah, it's impossible to predict what game can score a 10/10 from traditional media.

But if QB delivers on what it sets out to do, it could take interactive storytelling to a new level. I'm just enthralled by every single new piece of info I see about this game. So even if gamespot is unpredictable, this looks like a 10/10 game for me.

Oh, it'll be fantastic game. That's all what matters. And I don't know why many people don't mention it but I think the game looks stunning. It's up there with other high end games.

Zelda and FFXV are the only ones I see with the slightest chance of getting a 10/10. There'll be plenty of games I'll absolutely love, I'm sure, but they'll have their flaws.

Zelda is Zelda, it always has a chance of getting a 10 If they pull it off right.

As for FFXV, I'm sure a lot of you will scoff at me suggesting it, and I understand perfectly. However, they seem to have taken very seriously the decline in quality of FF games recently (even if they still try to pretend FFXIII was okay). What we've seen so far astounds visually, is huge in scale and has a combat system they seem to have thought out carefully and tried to execute as well as possible. And this is basically what FF needs. Good graphics, of course, but above all it needs attractive gameplay and the sense of grandeur in its world and plot so synonymous with the Final Fantasy name.

I've already seen people complaining about Uncharted 4 looking stale or repetitive or what have you. It could get a 10, but given what we've seen I suspect it will fall short of a 10. I don't see Dark Souls 3 getting a 10, whether it be because it genuinely doesn't deserve it or because people are finally getting a bit tired with that formula. No Man's Sky I'm pretty sure won't get a 10 even if it gets a very strong following and has lots going for it.

Not sure what else I'm missing in 2016, but that's my opion given what I've seen and heard.

Hmm I forgot Persona 5... And several others. 2016 is looking to be a great vidya game year.

Gamespot isnt giving out 10s easier. All the games that recently got it were heavy content wise. Havent played bayanetta but i know witcher , mgs and gta def deserve there 10s. Theres just to many amazing different ways you can experience those games.

I'd say none, but zelda has the best chance in my opinion.

Kinda offtopic, but I don't think that 2016 launches I'm most hyped for will score more than 8 here, 9 would be a dream come true. That is, I see OP as an interesting guestimate or possible bet, not much more.

Deus Ex and Mass Effect seem like legit candidates to me. Zelda I would put money on will be pushed back to 2017
