Wasteland 3 hype

I tried to play wasteland 2, but the shitty engine (or shitty use of engine) was too much for me.

Great game! Still need to finish it, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

It was quite similar in tone to Fallout 1 and 2, but was unique enough to not be a complete clone of it. Never played the original Wasteland even though they bundled it with my copy of Wasteland 2, has it aged well?

I really enjoyed Wasteland 2, and the little gameplay they released for 3 a while back looked great. so yea i'm certainly looking forward to it.

Wasteland 2 is a fantastic old-school party based RPG full of meaningful choices and consequences that significantly impact one's gameplay experience. More of that but with a modern and polished presentation would be great.

Super Hyped. Backed it as soon as the campaign went live.

Wasteland 2 was incredibly enjoyable both times I played through it. Wasteland 3 looks even better!

Wasteland 2 is a great game. The world has a ton of detail, the story is deep, your choices make a significant difference, the game doesn't hold your hand, the content is mature and often very serious yet also full of humor....and on and on. Still haven't finished it, though. I started playing a while back and put it on hold for a bit. This thread makes me want to get back into it.

Anyway, yeah. Hyped.

I'm ready for it. Any word on a Switch port?

So I've played a good 3-4 hours now, and I have to say, it's more a curio than a good game.

It's interesting comparing this to Phantasy Star to see just ahead it was. Although it's a JRPG, it plays more like a WRPG, specifically M&M. BBoth thse games came out in the same year.

But yea, unless you're interesting in the historical aspect, probably better playing playing 2 or waiting for 3.

Gonna try stick with it and finish it suppose.

Dunno, but I'll try Wasteland 2 on my Switch and see how it goes.

An unfortunate truth. Even with the attempt to redo the visuals, Wasteland 2 is still a fairly flat, bland looking game, With demanding specs and long load times.

It's interesting comparing Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns side by side. Shadowrun looks beautiful and runs flawlessly on low specs, it was even ported to tablet/mobile with practically no visual loss.
