Birth rates are declining across the Northern hemisphere. It's just more evident in East Asia and Eastern Europe because they have stricter immigration rules, whereas the West compensates with mass immigration. Yes but when you phrase it like you did, you make it sound like a product of the state. I feel that is misleading in both directions (either in a "glory to USSR!" sense or "Tetris is a filthy communism thing!")
