wow...just wow. before you hit the "new topic" button, look at what you're saying. VF5 almost sold as many in a day as DOA4 did in a week. Also look at the amount of consoles that are avaiable. Sheesh.

VF is for hardcore games.

VF is not casual friendly.

VF doesn't have online.

PS3 cost a lot of $$.

ps3 is practically dead in japan already. it's games will sell like psp games sell. they need games that japan will eat up fast but i don't see that happening till it's 08 and this war is lost.

360 owners might not warm up to it either. XB360 is about COMMUNITY. VF is a black sheep in that regard; it's a game that is really only best served when fighting against real and skilled opponents. but it's not there. I'm just trying to imagine if I'd still be playing DOA4 after a year if it didn't have online play. ........ ........ hell no.

Go do some goddamn research you n00bs, since when did VF sell well on Consoles since Sega Saturn? lmfao, and PS3 has a userbase of about 600k. I have Japanese friends, they play VF in the arcades, it's not very popular on consoles anymore, why would they want to dish out $400+ for it on a system which has no killer games? 30k for it's first day means 70k for next week which is still pretty damn good. It doesn't even have online either, if it had online then that would change things immensily.

without online play, they may just be looking at a loss. i really wish they'd just hold off on this one until they get it right. I'd bet all the money in my pocket that Tekken 6, Soul Calibur and DoA5 will be online games.
