I don't know why anybody thought it would. VF is an extremely technical fighter..It is incredibly frustrating to play if you don't take the time to master it....
Hmmm...Famitsu gave it 35/40 and EGM gave it 9.5, 10, and 9.5, so it's not a bad game. Maybe it should have had online play. Oh, and this confirms my statement that the EGM guys see giving a game a 10 each month as mandatory.

I'm really looking forward to it on the 360. (It's coming out for the 360 right? I think I read that, but it could have been fanboy jargon) Regardless, I agree it's a tough one to master, and I hope to do just that. I mean, I'll play that to death until either I see Soul Calibur 4 on the 360 or they release the Marathon Trilogy via XBLA :D
