Apologies for the lack of hyperlink. I quite enjoyed it years ago and will probably buy this.

why it is coming out on PC after 7 years? why not when they released in on console?
I will give it try. but it always looks like fast gears of war to me.
Just bring Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2 now lol.
I will give it try.
Plz don't.

Nice. I'll probably get this. Tried it on PS3, but I couldn't stand using the clunky joysticks. It'll be nice to use keyboard and mouse on this if they do it right.
The game is 25% off if you own Bayonetta.
Oh wow you're right.
Now that's bad ass, $15 Vanquish.
Wait where?

It is just like a faster flashier gears. But that is in no way a bad thing in my opinion. I love a good 3rd person shooter.

Even better. If you buy both at once you get 25% off on both. Oh man that's wonderful. Only 28$ for both games!
Definitely playing this soon, this game was amazing. It doesn't have a jump button but you get used to it.
Awesome game, good to see more people are able to enjoy it. Would love to see it become backwards compatible for the Xbox One. Would also love to see a sequel.
Hell yeah! One of the very few games I miss since selling my Ps3. Pleeeeease have good kb/m support (will buy anyway, but still!).
Most butthurt cow of all time, should be on SW hahaha: http://steamcommunity.com/app/460810/discussions/0/1333474229062524778/

Doesn't seem to matter so much that they're 7 year old games. PC gamers have been blowing Platinum Games up with hype ever since they teased PC with Bayonetta. I think it's a great sentiment that these are indeed fantastic games.
I already knew this was coming to PC since Sega kept on teasing everyone and so I'm not surprise by this announcement but I am however didn't expect it to release this very soon however. Day one buy PC cause I was never able to finish it on PS3 due to the horrible framerates.
Aww PC owners finally get our console leftovers. Cute.
True, true. Though I already owned this (and Bayonetta) on consoles. Still bought Bayo PC on day 1. Still bought Vanquish PC today.
Crazy fast load times, improved performance, much cleaner image quality, and any controller I want to use on top of games that were already great to begin with? Yes plz.

Bayonetta was only playable on X360, which even that wasn't 60fps locked.
And in terms of Vanquish, it seems that console versions weren't so great and locked on 30fps, which is not acceptable for a game like Vanquish.
YES! I must replay this game now. 2017 is the best for gaming.

It's in a whole different league than GeoW. Gears of War is great, but this game is just excellent. Both of you should get it.
Interesting how Sega is suddenly going all out with porting games to PC.
For whatever reason, Vanquish didn't really wow me. I finished it and had fun with it, but I never found myself going back to it much after that like I did with the Bayonetta games or Wonderful 101.
If I had a gaming PC though, I'd consider giving it another go with the lower price.
I never owned this game so hopefully they re-release on existing consoles too or at least make it BC on XOne, would definitely like to play it one day
Is Vanquish as replayable as Bayonetta? ?
Depends on who you ask, but personally? Nah.
Bayo is just more my thing gameplay wise. But aside from that, Bayo gives you more incentives to keep playing, with all the various weapons and items you can unlock on subsequent plays.
I'm not even sure if Vanquish has a NG+ option, though it's been some years, so I could be wrong. I do remember it having some extra challenge modes though.
Anyways, it does have good replay value, but stuff like Bayo is next level for me lol.

I see
Tbh, I've never seen anything like Bayo in terms of replayability, there are more than enough reasons to replay it
Nier: Automata selling well, Bayonetta had a great launch, and now Vanquish. There seems to be a decent audience for Japanese-style action games on PC. Who knew?
@ConanTheStoner: @jg4xchamp: Is Vanquish as replayable as Bayonetta? ?
I wouldn't say so, but I think it's the difference between a beat-em up like say Bayonetta versus Vanquish. There isn't any rhyme or reason to the scoring in Vanquish, because there are some inconsistencies to scoring runs in a game like Vanquish, versus say a shmup.
But it is mechanically more complex than any turd person shooter that isn't named, I guess technically Resident Evil 6, people on gaf swear by that game's mechanical complexity, but I was actively not having fun while playing that game. But Vanquish is rock solid, it's short, n segmented nicely that you can do quick run throughs. The way the weapon upgrades works adds some incentive to play for long runs with your life, multiple difficulties, and the tactical challenges are fucking fantastic. They are also pretty fucking hard, and will test every bit of your understanding of those mechanics.
It's not anywhere near as technical as a beat-em up, but that's because of the difference in genre. You can inherently do more interesting mechanical interplay with enemies n melee attacks than you can projectiles.
Never found the appeal of this game, I remember playing the demo when it released a while back, but that's all I remember...lol. Seems like a good time to check it out soon, same with Bayonetta, never played that game either...

PG has explained their reasons for the delay.
1. Publisher
2. Learning curve. Wii U programming experience enabled PG to better support PC.
