The art is certainly more stylized. And that makes it more appealing to me; Crysis tries too hard to emulate real life.
However, in terms of raw poly-count, it does not compete.
[QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"]bullshots do not count:|godofwar2610They are realtime... Real time bullshots heavily doctored with photoshop.

Sorry but those are clearly bullshots, ps3 can't do 24xAA.McdonaIdsGuyObviously you didn't play the first game.
[QUOTE="McdonaIdsGuy"]Sorry but those are clearly bullshots, ps3 can't do 24xAA.Pariah_001Obviously you didn't play the first game. so are you telling me that the first uncharted managed to pull of 24x AA on the PS3?

I'm saying that your premature assumption that the game operates on 24x AA is an uneducated one.
Anyone with common sense who's played the original game would know that those screens look only slightly better than the previous one. They wouldn't need to be doctored.
I don't understand. How can Crysis try too hard to emulate real life with Nanosuits, aliens, frozen tropical islands, and space ships. I just don't get it. Does all this stuff exist in real life and I'm just missing it somehow? The art is certainly more stylized. And that makes it more appealing to me; Crysis tries too hard to emulate real life.

they are. All games do this even gears of war. Iooking at these screens makes it very easy to tell that they are indeed bullshots.[QUOTE="Pariah_001"]I don't understand. So I suppose the Crytek developers have been to these other galaxies and seen these spaceships and aliens, so they know exactly how to render them so the game emulates real life. :roll:I don't understand. The images look almost exactly like the first one with some more polish. Considering what they already did with the first one, they don't need doctored ones.

I suppose that works. Personally I prefer the Crysis art style. Especially with some custom autoexec files. *drools*

But the point is--again--considering the visuals of the first game, there's is great precedent to claim they're not doctored. I ask again: Did you play the first game?

There are plenty of things in the game that don't exist in real life.. The guns, the Nanosuits, a frozen tropical island... Half the game takes place in places that probably don't exist.[QUOTE="smokedope420"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] So I suppose the Crytek developers have been to these other galaxies and seen these spaceships and aliens, so they know exactly how to render them so the game emulates real life. :roll:DragonfireXZ95

Actually Uncharted levels are so tiny, like a narrow path, that is by default 1/100 of Crysis already
Check the 1000x less foliage around too, all Drake 2 has going for it is the textures and art, it does not even touch Crysis scale and foliage detail
Only Two Worlds Temptation and Alan Wake, both PC/360 only, come close to Crysis, not a game on rails like Uncharted
PS3 RAM desing is too limited to have games like those, only PC and 360 can run them

They sound nothing alike if you ask me. Their both very diffrent. The only thing that might be similar is the design but thats it.[QUOTE="smokedope420"][QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"] No their is not it is called FY71 not AK-47JangoWuzHere

this gun is one of the best real life guns real dependable and basically almost impossible to jam because of it's design.
that's why all of the damn terrorist use it plus pretty powerful bullet.
the damn iraqies basically got better guns than us troops.
