was told to post this here for better input......

should I wait for the 360 revision/price drop and get a wii for my birthday next month, or get a 360 next month, and wait on the wii?

Get Wii if you can find one, 260 price drop/revision should be coming relatively soon and you'd regret getting one now.

360 is more expensive, so they should get him that for his birthday. That way he can buy the cheaper one by himself. Besides 360 has the most games out right now.

Nah, mom said she wasn't spending 250-400 dollars, going to combine christmas money w/ birthday money.

yea, mines like 7 years old, so get a 360 now(not worth waiting for something you cant use) and get a wii when something worth getting is out on it.( I know Zelda is on it now, but that wont keep you busy for long.

there are several REALLY good games on wii. play them before you bash. that and zelda wont keep you for long? its a 60 hour game.

it depends on what games you want. Next month on the Wii there will be Sonic, SSX Blur, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, and Super Paper Mario. Plus with the games that are already out, Zelda, Trauma Center, Elebits, Excite Truck, and WarioWare, it is definitely worth it. Either way, you will enjoy yourself. I personally would go for the Wii. The 360 wont disappoint you either though.

Theyre just games you play as a little time killer(like Eye toy) There not worth getting a system for. Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash bros brawl, and games like that are reasons to get a wii. and as for Zelda, There must be a big difference between the wii and gc version, because on the gc version it took my GRANDMA a weekend to beat the game :|

get a wii and 3 extra wiimotes and nunchuk, wario ware, rayman raving rabbids. And have one of the most fun birthday party with friends and family. :)
