I have no problems with HD remakes and remasters. There needs to be more even. I just hope there are more remakes of good obscure games like Enslaved and Unreal Championship 2.

More like former Lems who were left out in the cold the past couple of years while MS ramped up all its 1st party developers to pimp the new toy out. Having been a PS3 owner at the end of gen7 and a current PS4 owner, I can say definitively that a lot of those sales were probably former 360 owners instead of PS3 owners double-dipping.

I didn't buy it. I got TLOU last year for PS3 and subsequently got a Platinum for the game. Great game.

I can see that the port was justifed now sales wise.

I see many others enjoyed this remastered port though which should help fund future great games from Naughty Dog and Sony. I know a few 360 to PS4 converts that were very eager to play this game, so more power to them.

I'm slightly interested in the TLOU remastered for the DLC, but I'm waiting on a deal on the PS4 retail game or PS3 DLC PSN Sale. whichever comes first.

Heck, My ps4 is still my dedicated FFXIV machine.

Sony claims about half of PS4 owners had another gen 7 console besides PS3, or no gen 7 device at all. TLoU sold about 7 million copies to more than 80 million PS3s, so more than 90% of PS3 gamers didn't get it the first time around either.

I'd say there was plenty of market for this title before we even consider those who "upgraded".

My friend, the problem isn't Last Or Us, it's the shit that will come afterwords from it's success.

Think of the many games in the Xbox360/PS3 later life that took advantage of the PC. Or how, practically any game, can be scaled up. Just lazily raising the resolution. It's a button press on the pc.

they aren't spamming anyone, if you want to buy the game you'll buy it, if you don't want to buy the game you won't buy it. simple as that. I do agree that these cross gen games are getting out of hand. I stupid recently found out that MGS5 will also be a cross gen game, I assumed it was a next gen only. Now the game will most likely suffer because it has to run the same way on last gen consoles. I will just pretend like its a next gen game only, what else can I do? Atleast I get to play a MGS game which is my favorite series of all time.
