Totally agree. I dislike cows, not Sony. I do prefer MS, being of American origin. I remember a thread ranking Japan's favorite companies of Japan origin recently. Nothing wrong with that. I still buy PS consoles.

With digital copies it was well over 1 million sold. If you include April & May now, I' sure they are somewhere between 1.5-2 million sold at present day. Not to bad for a new IP that hasn't launched everywhere yet.

Resistance for example it was a new IP and was consider a failure because in the end it could not sold like Halo or gears,even that it sold more than 4 million copies total.

firstly, 1 million+ sales in 2 months is quite good for a NEW ip, secondly, where did he say Infamous was a failure? he didn't so your reply is a little out of context with what he said don't you think?
All he did was point out that KZ is 5 months old and titanfall is only 2 months old so it's no great Failure that Titanfall has not outsold Killzone yet as thew silly Cow was trying to imply with there Lame damage control.

A platform winning means that it gets advantages with games. If ps4 has twice as many consoles out there it will get more third party support, it will get exclusive content, it will become lea development platform meaning multiplats run much better on it, and more.
Sales are important from a gaming perspective. The most popular platform gets the most support from the industry. That's why people argue about sales.
That only matters up to a certain point. Once both consoles reach a certain number then dev will put games on both consoles no matter who is winning unless either Sony or MS buy exclusive rights. Lead development will be the only true advantage to selling the most consoles.
Again, only up to a certain point of sales.
People argue sales as a form of ownage and THAT is the real reason anyone would argue sales. Unless you have a stake in said company, sales doesn't do the average gamer a bit of good unless the chosen platform fails miserably. I don't see either MS or Sony failing miserably this gen so fanboys really don't have anything to worry about.

If people ignore the facts in the OP, they can just say whatever they want! It's pretty much nothing but good news for a brand new IP on a brand new console in what is arguably the most difficult genre to break into.

New IP's rarely sell millions and million right out of the gate. KZ:SF was hyped as much as Titanfall and didn't sell a million immediately either and it was bundled on day one.

Oh I do, and you know I do. I figured it was just a false equivalence within an artificial lem narrative. I guess it must be.
It was in the beginning, but I stand by it for a bit. When Infamous was released the cows were shouting that it was best selling, much better than Titanfall, Titanfall sold like shit etc etc. When we see now after 4-5 weeks that Titanfall is in the top 5 of best selling games every week, when Infamous fell to a top 20 place.
I don't understand the concept that Infamous needed to be a 'savior' of game sales though, that's the weird part. It sold 1mil+ in 9 days. A savior from what? Performing badly? It did awesome. This was on top of lems reiterating to me that Suckerpunch were a C-Class studio and Infamous wasn't a franchise that sold very well at all.
Because Sony gamers didn't buy as many games until Infamous came along, that's why it was the saviour of game sales. But because cows are saying Titanfall didn't sell well, it must mean Infamous didn't sell well. Because it sold less on a console that has a bigger userbase.

I miss the days in which games were not expected to hit millions, we had far more unique titles instead of the slew of mainstream sh!t that play it safe because of the unreasonable expectations now that every game has to break multi million in sales to be considered a "success".. And this is coming from some one that neither owns a Xbox One or Titanfall on the PC..

KZSF sold double what TF sold in the same period, infamous 9 day sales outsold TitanFall sales with PC combined.
We can conclude TitanFall is not a system seller, losing in the NPD already confirmed that.
Killzone sales were as of January 15th, which is a far cry from the single month Titanfall sales. Furthermore, Titanfall figures were from NPD (which does not track digital or worldwide), where KZ's were seemingly not.

The number is brought to you courtesy of NPD, GFK and independent trackers in Asia and Western Europe. We can confirm that around 27% of the sales were from bundles . The game reached the coveted mark after PS4's debut in Korea on December 17th, 2013 . We can also confirm that Xbox One's launch title Dead Rising 3 has also sold over 600,000 copies. Congratulations to both Guerilla Games and Capcom from Insiderp !
With a much smaller install base and 27% sales from bundles where as titanfalls accounted for over a 3rd in March.
