Titanfall 1080P on xbox one prediction, yay or nay

It should be 1080p. It doesn't look to be doing a lot of complex things with the old Steam Engine. I expect 2010 laptops to be able to runt he game at 1080p/60. I expect no less of the One.

But anything can happen.

There is never a NEED to own a gaming console. You seem disappointed that more people WANT the PS4 regardless of what Microsoft does. Also the best console version of EVERY multiplat is a good reason to buy one.

Being I'm unbiased I felt compelled to get one, so I could comment truthfully, honestly and from the heart. Not to mention every store we were at had them in stock.

I got PS4 at midnight launch and had it pre-ordered with receipt in hand 7 minutes after store opened. :D

I think it will be. Microsoft is probably seeing that everyone is flipping out because of a number. Which doesn't really matter much. BF4 looks great on Xbox One, Ryse looks great..I'll bet if you demoed it to someone who didn't know what the resolution was they'd think it was 1080p.

But yes. I think they'll push them really hard to make sure it hits that number. I still think both systems will have almost all games at 1080p60 by the end of next year. You guys don't like to believe it because you want all the nonsense drama around it.

Neither console will be hitting 1080p/60fps on the majority of games and the Xflop will not be hitting 1080p.

In response to the actual topic, I would certainly hope Titanfall ends up with a 1080p resolution on the Xbox One. It will definitely be available as 1080p on the PC, that's a given. If it's not, will you boycott it like you said you would boycott COD:Ghosts?

This game releases on my birthday making my opinion more valid than anyone else's. 1080p @ 30fps or 720(maybe 900) @ 60fps, but not both. I'm fine with either as long as they do better online than they did with BF4.

Now I know why M$ didn't want to call the XBone: Xbox 720. It would have reveald their secret that it runs just 720p.

COD is not using the same engine as Titanfall, also it had single player campaign. The devs didn't have time to make it run in 1080p. A multiplayer only game should be different.

Game will probably be 900p 60fps. Which is great on my 720p TV. Having am old ass TV like this completely negates cows cries of 720p over and over again.

Well all I have played on Xbone is Forza 5 but I just don't think they will get much more out of the system. If they reach 1080p with Titanfall the framerate will not reach 60fps.

Having the game being actually good is more important than pixels and frame rates for me. But just like any games recently, they can be updated to reach optimal settings after release.
