PS5 for sure. Nor sure about Xbox anymore. I'll probably get a switch 2 as well.

Yeah I'll give it a chance since I have a really great internet. If it turns out it's good I might skip the Scarlett as well.

I tend to get Nintendo systems and another to play the aaa Western titles. This gen I went with PS4 because of the niche Japanese support it had, and before that I picked 360 first. So if Stadia covers the Elder Scrolls and GTAs I might just go Nintendo and Stadia, but if Google can't get that right I'll grab the Scarlett for the Western third party fix.

I've never been a PC gamer beyond the occasional visual novel or indie title, and I don't care for Sony's new censorship policy or stance on cross play. Also don't care about most of their exclusives any more either.

I choose all of them. Manticore all the way!

How do you have time for five different gaming ecosystems? I used to try doing that but at least one of 'em would always get neglected in the end.

Xbox is all I need

Ps5 for exclusives and games friends have. PC for everything else. Portability doesn't appeal to me and neither does BC since I never sell my consoles for pennies. Plus, if you have a PC you don't need an Xbox.

I’m an Xbox guy so that’s my pick.

PC, PS5, and whatever Nintendo puts out next.

I just play what I want when I want. If they sit their it is not that big of a deal. Like right now my Xbox gets played more the the PS4, but that will change when Sony starts releasing some of those killer exclusives they have coming out soon.

It is hard because I have all of the consoles, Oculus Quest, a nice laptop, electronic drums, and I love going out to the gun range. So much to do so little time to be honest.

They all have their uses, if I don't use it someone will.

My switch/Pc gets neglected by me but the 3 year old loves it (Nintendo has great games for little ones) and the missus loves sims 4. Xbox I'll use GP ever couple of months when I run out of things to play. But I still get all them for various reasons. I might upgrade my PC in 21.

All the 3 consoles, unless the switch upgrade is not significant. A new PC too but probably not for gaming.

1-I need Xbox for BC, many 7th gen only it has, that my PC doesn't

2-I need a 9th gen machine for console only, so would like strongest, Scarlett will obviously do best everything

3-I love PC GP, but I love Ultimate price without commitment, and Xbox GP has its own games that I really like.

I need Scarlett, that is a fact, and will likely upgrade PC first, but I just got 2060/Ryzen 2 so doubt much to get next holiday cause I will have Ryzen 3 by then and double my Ram. So it'll be $300 plus X for Scarlett, or $500 for a new graphics card that won't be much of upgrade.

Eventually PS5 will have enough games to make it worth it, but don't know if I need or want one, especially if PC and Switch get most of its 3rd party exclusives. If you never got a PS4, majority of its exclusives came to other machines.

PS5 day one. Don’t care if it costs $1000 CAD.

Xbox2: Probably never, unless I see it for $200 or less in 2025.

Nintendo: Never. Terrible consoles too far behind. Stone ages. Games suck too. Massive game droughts.

Xbox first basically because halo infinite. I will eventually get the PS5 as the exclusives will persuade me at some point.

PS5) Great games from Sony's studios and support from the best of the East

Probably the one that will have Spider-Man 2 , God of War 2 , Horizon Zero Dawn 2 , Naughty God games , Sucker Punch games , incredible 3rd party support , etc. Only time will tell.

PS5 and maybe a new Switch later on.

Xbox Scarlett/Switch 2/PS5 for me. It’s basically what I do each gen, buy the main console systems. Covers my gaming needs and desires perfectly.

Any Nintendo console is always a must own for me since I love their exclusives.

Xbox has been my favorite platform to play multiplats on since they have had the best controller and the best online service every single generation since they first entered the market. As long as Microsoft doesn't do something incredibly stupid like not include physical media on their console, I'm pretty certain that I will buy Xbox Scarlett.

I was incredibly disappointed with the PS4 so I'm not going to buy the PS5 unless they prove that they can have some great exclusives that interest me. And more movie-games and JRPGs are not going to get the job done. Sony needs to start offering the kind of variety that they offered on the PS1 and PS2 again if they want my money next generation.

The only games that I use my PC for are VR games so I'll upgrade my PC when there are VR games that I want to play which require that I upgrade it.

I would not even pay a penny for Google Stadia. If somebody gave me the Google Stadia Founder's Pack for free, I would smash it with a hammer and then throw it in the garbage where it belongs. This "console" needs to flop for the good of the industry.

You didn't include it in this poll, but another upcoming console that I will most likely buy is the Intellivision Amico since a new exclusive Earthworm Jim game and BurgerTime game are must-own games for me. Plus, I really like Tommy Tallarico and I want to support his company's effort to bring the types of retro experiences that are missing from modern gaming back.

Lol. Breath of The Wild was the most engrossing game i played since probably Mario 64 and Ocarina. If that was the only game i ever bought for the Switch i would not be upset.

Chuckled at switch exclusive. 20 reskin pokemon and mario game doesnt make it good. Its like saying call of duty no 15 is good.

Well... let's see here.....

• Planning to upgrade my CPU to Ryzen 3950X, maybe see what new threadrippers have to offer to do some ridiculous fast storage in RAID 0 (not that I need to, my i7-6700k will be good enough for years to come)
• Gonna get a new Switch to see if it sucks as much as the old Switch - I hope they address some of the ergonomics of the design (I can't stand the OG Switch in handheld mode)
• Gotta get a PS5 in the hopes it will finally bring justice to Bloodborne and other PS4 exclusives which, to put it lightly, didn't run as well as I wanted them to.
• I pre-ordered Google Stadia for shits and giggles to see how it works (really doubt I will use it very much).
• No need for an Xbox since I will be using PC. Thanks, MS! That's one less crappy computer I need to buy!

As usual, a majority of my gaming will be done on PC because it's just the best gaming experience you can have (especially now since we are getting some really dope HDR monitors with dense full array local dimming)

PS5 as the mainplattform because it has all relevant good games. Will use PC for some indies and will rent xbox games throught xcloud for a month if they ever release a good game (dont remember the last time they did).

"Switch 2" will probably be my no.1 priority, followed by Scarlett eventually.

I figure I'll go the the next xbox at the time they fully transition to the next gen. The nice thing is I should automatically get the scarlet version of first party and any 3rdparty that are on gamepass once I upgrade rather than being stuck with the old gen version I was playing before buying the new system.

My PC is already ready for what ever comes out and a PS5 and Switch 1.5 are no brainers for me as a gamer... Xbox has no value to me.

PC and Nintendo for my main duo. Will get a ps5 a few years after a release. No google and no xbox next gen.

I can't vote until I know what the options are. We know so little about anything. The only certainty is that yes, I will keep my PC. But I can't comment on the other options until I see if they are worth my money

Dont be like that. Use that free 3 month to stream the games then after that keep the controller as backup controller or as ur main android phone controller. Repackage that chromecast ultra as gift or something. I hear its very decent controller. But guess reasoning with nintendo fans is useless cause they will buy every pokemon game each year like how casuals buy sports or cod each year.

I have zero interest in streaming games even if it was free. I hate streaming and I want any streaming service to flop because I don't want video games to go in that direction.

I don't know why you are even bringing up Pokemon and bashing Nintendo fans, but for the record, I have never bought a Pokemon game in my life and never will. Just because I'm a Nintendo fan doesn't mean that I like everything that they do and Pokemon is definitely something that does not appeal to me in the slightest.

Switch is the only one im for sure on, im building a new PC but im not trying to game much on, more for work. But I'll play my rts games on it at the least. Ps5 and xbox I'm split on, diddnt really care for many of sonys exclusives even if they do have more than xbox. I will get an xbox or ps5, but I'm leaning towards the Xbox, gamepass looks convienant and I could get gamepass on pc and xbox i believe which is cool if I wanted to split it up, i care more about MP than single player.

PC + PS5 sounds like a good idea. But if I do get a PS5, it will be a few years into its lifetime.

No point in getting a console at launch, unless playing tech demos and trying out new (faulty) hardware is your thing.
