i love my pc and pc gaming, but patapon still has a place in my heart. very fun innovative game. the most innovative? i dunno, but damm close probably. never did play 3. id buy an hd collection if it released on ps3, would give me a reason to play one of my consoles again finally after about 2 years.
I'd have to say Pikmin is among one of the most original and brilliant games ever produced. No game plays even remotely like it and it all works so well

well it definitely wins the "most cruel game ever made" award. it's essentially a game about slavery, exploiting/abusing trust, and killing puppies (if those puppies were tiny onion people).

Patapon isn't really innovative, though. It's a smart collaboration of different game concepts. Rhythm + RPG + Side scroller. In my mind, an innovative game has to produce aspects not found elsewhere.
