The Crew runs at 30FPS on PC....

Just got into the Crew Beta on PC. All is well except its running at 30FPS?

the driving in that game looks like it has the same shitty physics from watch dogs.

Looks like dirt2 has better graphics too.

Well, having just been kicked out for 15 minutes due to a server fault, I had a look on the forums and you can change the limiter but you have to do it in classic Ubisoft style.

I didn't even know what this was until a few days ago. As for the framerate, it could just be the beta (but probably not).

Another lazy console port, most likely demanding poor clyde pay £39.99/£49.99.

The cars look weak. Did NFS: Rivals cars look better than this? How is the driving in this game? I was thinking about getting this game, but now after seeing it, I may pass or wait for a healthy price drop. Doesn't look like it will be worth $60, that's for sure.

You can edit the config file to unlock 60 fps, but it completely breaks network sync.

Sadly, while PC games use to cost £29.99 full price, greed has ensued with many steam imitators and "next gen" as an excuse to inflate prices the same (and more) than console games. Many of these titles, especially from EA, have 0 effort.

The driving feels very floaty. I think the beta actually ends today, there is a lot of calls to extend it.

The last beta I played for this was running at 60 FPS just fine, and graphics looked like a bad looking lastgen game. Also aren't you on a NDA for the game? Or is there a public beta?

Meh. It is not like I will lose my sleep over this one. There are plenty of car games on pc this year.

Really? Man, fucking Ubisoft. I just learned the game seems to have only 8 players on screen, or on the same game as you, at a time. And it's suppose to be the mmo of racing games.

If Rainbow Six for PC is intentionally gimped, I will legit boycott Ubisoft...

Completely different studios, dude. I'm no fan of Ubisoft but you should realize that they have thousands of employees all over the world making many different games simultaneously.

Not this time, in the beta anyway the game is restricted to 30FPS. You can change it in a config file but it creates more problems.

How is there any debate that Racers, Fighting games, and Sports games are the most repetitive, linear games out there?

I'm a huge football fan, but Madden has been the same old shit with a half assed roster update for years. I'm a huge fan of MMA, but the UFC games and fighting games in general are shallow as hell.

With how much money is poured into Madden every year, you'd think those **** faces over at EA would be capable of making a game with AMAZING presentation and gameplay mechanics. Afterall, how much can you really do with a sports game? At least make the crowds look realistic and react in a believable manner and stop having Phil Simms and Jim Nantz repeat the same old shit ad nauseam.
