Guessing how many articles Gamespot will flood the front-page with every year is probably more fun of a game.
Well I’m looking forward to it myself. I ended up passing on the last couple of Call of Duty games but am getting that itch to hop back into it now.

you are too happy go lucky. you can even enjoy call of duties my friend.

Modern Warfare 2019 actually had a really good campaign :)
Pick it up on sale if you are interested.

Im still amazed that COD is still a thing in 2020. it was so 2009.

having on rail and very scripted but plus having cutscene that are showing "so heroic" is synonymy of bad my friend.
this year COD will be black ops reboot. called black ops because activision marketing department is full of unpaid internee i guess.
@R4gn4r0k: Yeah I have heard that it was pretty good and I might still grab it on sale sometime.
I ended up finishing it twice on authentic. I'm normally not a fan of veteran difficulty mode in COD, but this one came with a no HUD mode and it was just a really great campaign for once :D

Barrage people enough with something and they accept it it as the norm my freind.
Like Clock Work Orange where he can no longer do bad things, but Call Of Dutys.
The gaming media part of that. Do it with whatever game has the mostest money bags.
Sad.

Majority of casuals and mainstream gamers today went to PUBG and fortnite as they are more popular yet even worse than COD ever was but gaming media praise anything that is popular and mainstream.
This franchise still sell, why would developers make extra effort to make some groundbreaking games? they better copy and paste same formula of 2007 game and still puting in 2020.
sadly this COD will also outsell Doom Eternal because it attract more to casuals.
Such a degenerate franchise. I was so happy to see it dying before BLOPS3, but now that there's BR, this virus isn't going anywhere.
@R4gn4r0k: I heard it was good but also it was only like 4 hours long. I should play through it some afternoon.
I think it's around 5-6 hours like an average COD campaign :)
If its 5 hour campaign. 2 hours include filler walking segments, cutscenes, doing nothing. remaining 3 hours is just aim and shoot.

My friend, people play for the MP. They care not SP, it's like little cherry on top of cake made of shit and racism.
Having said that, by virtue of being "old", remember a time when gamers, grew up on the likes of Halflife, Quake, RTCW, Jedi Knight Doombed and many others which provided both.
Mediocrity has become normalized. Very sad.

Exactly, we all grow up playing masterpiece like Half life, Quake, Doom, Deus Ex.
then generation after us grew up on COD and Battlefield.
Now i feel pitty for generation that is growing up on PUBG and fortnite. PUBG and fortnite proove that PC is no difference than console when it comes to casual and mainstream games.
I just don't know how people can keep on buying this on an annual basis. I want to say it's worse than pokemon but at least COD has good production values now from all the money they make.

COD MP is just very bad. Incredibly small maps, I've been in elevators that are larger than a typical COD map. Perks and killstreaks, which just make for an incredibly unbalanced and unfair experience, etc.
I wanted COD to return to its roots: pre-COD4, just a very basic (but fun) multiplayer.
I don't like killing someone, him spawning behind me and killing me, rinse and repeat.
But Modern Warfare 2019 just has a really good singleplayer, from the first mission to the last.
Folks, nobody plays the COD campaigns. It’s the top selling game every year Rockstar doesn’t launch something. Calling out the campaign is like saying the Madden campaign is lame. That’s not why people play these games! So stop, please!

implying MP is any good in COD lol.

You can't say something that very few play is bad because..?
Anywho, some people in this very forum buys CoD only to play their campaigns. Very fucked up, I know, but it's true. Some people on here even play the campaign in Battlefield games. Eech.
@vfighter: After completing every COD game on realism or Veteran, god damn am I glad the game is only 4 hours.

Warzone is free, and quite fun. You got nothing to lose except like 200 GB of hard drive space :D
Nah I don't think it's that much, but damn their patches are massive.
@ghosts4ever: How would you know what multiplayer is good? All you play is FPS campaigns that make you feel good at video games. 15 minutes online with the rest of us would set you straight
@mrbojangles25: Yeah it does look like fun and I may check it out but I was more referring to the standard full package games with the single player campaign, typical multiplayer modes, etc.

I feel its just like pubg. They swap a blade of grass on one map and you have a 9gb update for the entire thing all over again. Warzone has a lot more unique aspects to it rather than cookie cutter pre-fabs.
I dunno, just my 2 cents. I got 1gbps internet anyway :D

Unlike our golden youth, before the dark times, these little (presumably) innocent children are brought up with microtransactions, loot boxes, in game ads as the norm.
Quite insidious.
Warzone actually has a great framework and is one of the best BR games out there. Too bad they marred it with loadouts, instakill RPGs that makes cars require trophies, and horrible balance across the guns; but still, it is a fun game despite all of that.

No, he's a normal human being, as opposed to a ban-dodging shit poster.
