the best game of all time is...

Skyward Sword. i just beat koloktos and this game is pure magic. I don't even own a wii, because I honestly can't stand the system. I'm borrowing a friends and I bought this game. Best move ever. Seriously. I have never felt this involved in a game before. I'm not saying its perfect, I feel like nintendo lags behind on voice acting especially. I'm a little tired of watching fis mouth move when she sings but its all beeps and stuff. But from a gameplay perspective, nothing I've ever played comes close, and ive been gaming since 91. And tom mcshea is wrong. the controls are amazing... revolutionary even.

I dont think it's the best game of all time, but I do find the game very enjoyable.

I'd have to disagree. I've never been a fan of the Zelda series & I think the latest game looks just as awful as all the other ones I've played. My pick for best game of all time would be LittleBigPlanet 2. I don't think I've ever seen such unique & visually stunning art design as in the second LittleBigPlanet. The game is about as close to perfect as anything I've played.

every now and then nintendo releases a timeless gem. this game is like a fusion of zelda and metroid prime. Its funny how bad even skyrim is compared to this game. The level design in ss is unparallelled.

I loved Mass Effect 2! Skyrim is one of my favorites currently also! So addictive!! I plan on getting Skyward Sword though. Game Informer Mag was kinda tough on it though, and they usually overrate games, so it does make me a tad bit skeptical. I'm still gonna get it, and from what I've seen it looks awesome! I have twilight Princess and I love that title also!

How about Super Mario Bros 2? That game took what was good with the first one, enhanced the graphics, and made it a blast!! That and Street Fighter! I remember first playing Street Fighter, man it blew me away, not to mention it helped define a genre.

I'm just a bit further than you and I must say this game is superb. It amazes how the developers for Zelda can still come up with new level designs every iteration and still have them be completely fresh and of a calibur above every other game ever made. I am also extremely pleased with the motion controls and how they add depth and extra puzzle solving to the combat. This is Zelda at its most realized.

Game is very overrated 7.5 is way too much. Remember Tom said the broken controlls didn't affect the score?? Wtf is that of course broken controlls should affect the score. So really it should be like 4 or 5 at most. Lucky sheep.

LOL, not even close. Skyward Sword does a lot more new than MW3 and it's also built on a much stronger and well designed foundation

Mass Effect 2, Deux Ex HR, Bioshock, Killzone 2, and The Witcher beat it. Skyward Sword may be, Top 150 though.
