I'll have to go with Naughty Dog. They haven't dropped an egg since before the first Crash. They haven't let down their consumers by creating a franchise and never finishing it. Every game they release is better than the previous, as far as mechanics/gameplay. They are, hands down, the best.

I forgot about the poll. I went with Rockstar.

Voted RockStar, but Naught Dogs was close for me. Bethesda makes buggy as hell games, Bioware really aren't that fantastic, and Valve while good they haven't released a slew of games in awhile.

IMO, Naughty Dog's games this gen have all had incredibly mediocre gameplay. They are fun experiences but pretty weak as actual games. 

I'd say Valve but they barely develop games anymore. So Rockstar, Creative Assembly and CD Projekt Red are the ones I would vote for. I'm also really impressed with Tripwire, they have been doing excellent work over the last several years.

My vote goes to Rockstar but my heart goes to Lucasarts

IMO, Naughty Dog's games this gen have all had incredibly mediocre gameplay. They are fun experiences but pretty weak as actual games. 

I'd say Valve but they barely develop games anymore. So Rockstar, Creative Assembly and CD Projekt Red are the ones I would vote for. I'm also really impressed with Tripwire, they have been doing excellent work over the last several years.

Rockstar North, or Valve. I'd vote for Bethesda Game Studios, but their games are pretty buggy no matter how amazing they are. Rockstar and Valve's games are both amazing and very well polished.

It's laughable to include Bethesda on that list. Fallout 3 was really good, and Skyrim is too... but Super Mario Galaxy good? NO, Zelda: ALTTP good? NO... Bethesda are sloppy devs... games are plagued with bugs... but they build enjoyable, rich, large worlds to explore...so most is forgiven.

I voted for Rockstar... though Naughty Dog is really fighting hard for the top of the pile.

I'd say it's between Rockstar, Naughty Dog & Nintendo, for best dev... with a slight edge to Nintendo since they've been on top for sooooo long, and have a far more diverse port-folio to use as bragging rights.

My point is Rockstar & Naughty Dog are extremely good at what they do, but Nintendo has been good for sooooo long that until someone else is as successful for as long as they've been up til now, its not really a competition. There's something to be said for Stamina (staying power).

I don't see how Gamespot or Metacritic could prove me wrong in any waythemajormayor
