Well, yeah, it's pretty clear they hate anything not available on the Xbox right now. If the persona games ever release on Xbox it'll suddenly become a masterpiece for these people.

Console wars aside, this series is fantastic and I wholely recommend this series if you like JRPGs. Hell, even phones can play them via a PSP emulator, if for some reason you guys hate PC so much that you don't even have a laptop that's old enough to drink.

Hasn't the goal of most on the internet during social interactions been to be the most disrespectful they can possibly be? Hasn't that in turn helped lead to the amount of hate spilling over into the streets today? When people interact IRL the way they have on the internet for decades because they don't know how else to interact with people face to face anymore... all you see is disrespect and hate.

Internet is only half the problem and it does has it uses for Humanity. The real problem is social media who don't know how to use it.

Judging by most posters who shits on Twitter, I'd say they don't know how to use it meaning don't follow the worst posters, only the good one's I follow and Twitter happens to be my only social media I use the most just to follow gaming news and even Gamespot Twitter. What I'm saying is social media isn't all that bad if you know what you are doing, I don't follow negative one's.

Origins is a poor introduction to the series imho. I thought it was ok but nothing special. It was really Ys Memories of Celceta that got me into the series.

As for the topic...i think i asked this before (and i could look it up but i am exceedingly lazy :P) but there are a shed load of games in this series. where to begin? Im guessing the numbered ones (trails of cold steel has 3 in the series) are to be played in order but is that self contained or do i need to play another one before getting stuck into that trilogy?

I keep meaning to check this series out. i may nab one when i go to buy Ys 9 later.

For Ys games any games since the PSP entry Ys Seven is good entry point. Memories in Celceta is arguably the best Ys games but other new entries on modern consoles generally been really good.

For Legend of Heroes... Trails of Cold Steel actually got 4 entry. If ur on Switch/PC I think the last entry (episode 4) just released, PS4 ver releases last year and you better play this from entry no 1 cause there is an entry got cliffhanger ending.

The Cold Steel series also benefits a lot if you played legend of Heroes : Trails in the Sky cause there some characters returning...

... hmm yeah. In conclusion Ys any entry on modern console is good while Trail of Cold Steel start with first entry or, start with Trails in the Sky first then move to Cold Steel.

Outside of gaming, I much prefer Mac myself. I have a Macbook Pro as my computer at home. But my wife has a Surface Pro. She didn't want to get a Macbook Pro because she just wants to know where the start menu is, excel/word and the internet browser (she works from home). She doesn't want to learn new things!

Yeah, I have all the physical copies of the ones I know. I like to get on Amazon, local game stores, or even limited run or other sites and get games in bunches. Usually more so when I can find them heavily discounted but still get them new.

Yea…not missing out at all. Not into stuff like this so no loss.
