Can we go back to tried a true controllers. We play to escape reality!!! No matter how good motion controls get they will never be as good as the doing something in real life unless you have a holodeck and thats not happening for a long time.

The term sell out is almost as stupid as overrated.

A company making something that doesn't appeal to *YOU* anymore = changing their core beliefs and or purpose? (still about making money!)

MS, and Nintendo are not like your best friends, who used to be all about the music man, then started writing commercials for diapers even though they hate diapers, and think all kids should use re-usable cloths since they claim to be all green and stuff.........

Why are self proclaimed hardcore gamers so afraid of the market expanding, and therefore offering everyone more choices as to what to play?

For people who seem to like games "hardcore" ie a whole lot to the point they think about playing games more so then "casuals", they seem to have a very set criteria of what type of video games they will even consider. That's not hardcore video game playing and loving. That's just closed/weak minded fear.

I wouldn't be suprised if Sony is making something like the Natal now. They would have started the development about two second after the Natal annoucement was over but until its developed Sony will say something like it not needed this gen.

Sony true. Sure. True at two failed motion controllers, now enter one more to that growing list. I was going to get a ps3 but seeing as how it is too expensive, features were removed, no backwards gaming for ps2, and all the things you have to buy just to make it a wii clone, I will just be happy with my wii this gen.
