What exactly is so impressive about that? The 1st thing that came to mind when watching that video was a more cartoonish inFamous with weapons instead of superpowers. Its fvckin pathetic how lems bashed infamous, calling it repetitive and boring, and now are hyping this game. bunch of fvckin hypocrites

Yep. Unfortunately for the lemmings, most of the sales this month will be from aggressive bundling or the 360 edition, which looks exactly the same. What a shame. :(

What's impressive about it? the visuals. I don't care what cows and lems and said before about another game. The game looks pretty and is indeed pretty close to the C trailer they showed before. So yep, that's impressive.

Gameplay: could be fun? The only thing that seems weird to me is that the devs say it's all about fast paced action, but the game seems pretty slow. (Just because there's a "swoosh" behind the character doesn't mean he's going very fast...).

Other than that, yeah, I'd say this looks like a fun game.

Is this really news? At this point I think Xbox One owners are resigned to sub-1080p resolutions. Sunset Overdrive still looks pretty good, though.

This game is Published by Microsoft. Insomniac still owns the IP though. Future games in the series could possibly go multi.

As for this game. No, it will remain console exclusive. It could hit PC or 360 though.

Like Sony supported Resistance 3? As in no marketing push at all. If I was insomniac. I would have seriously contemplated bailing too.

It looks alright. Technically not great (Insomniac has never really been a cutting edge developer as far as maximizing performance) , but looks like a decent game.I definitely like the artstyle, Insomniac definitely does "cartoony" better than they do hardcore or gritty looking games.

Lems are overhyping this game because it used to be a Playstation exclusive developer. So they want to feel that their camp stole something of value, even though Insomniac has had a spotty record lately. Ironic that the same people that are trying to hype this game, probably trashed the hell out of Resistance and Ratchet on PS3.

Makes me wonder if some NEED resolution and graphics to have fun. If so, why aren't they on PC?

Killzone was the polished turd i was talking about, all graphics and no substance, and in my opinion, Ryse may have a lower resolution than killzone but it looks better,unfortunately Ryse is also a polished turd.

'Better looking' is subjective so therefore whether resolution makes one game look better than another is also Subjective.

Darkstar one on the 360 is native 1080p but looks worse than Most games that are Sub-HD on the Xbox 360 because it has very little detail and lower polygon counts.

I think they will. As much as we get the bro-dude-gamer tag, which is mostly true when you look at what genres sell best on Xbox, we haven't seen anything like this for a very long time and almost everyone is impressed. I think this game will do very well. Its now my third most wanted title after Quantum Break and Dragons Age this year.

This should be a surprise to no one. Any 1080p Xbone games will either be graphically weak with baked lighting or a rare candy theoretical super exclusive being made by Epic funded by MS with cost as no object to hit that 1080p target. The console architecture is physically incapable of running AAA multiplats in 1080p due to it not fitting in the esram frame buffer. Theoretically I suppose someone *could* make a game run using serious buffer frame tiling magic but no developer will put that effort in for a multiplat. Enjoy your 900p games lems, its gonna be a long gen.

Insomniac is not Naughty Dog, they don't make miracles like them, and its unfair to expect them to work magic with gimped hardware.

OMG! Lets not play a great game because it is not at 1080P! All XB1 owners should sell their XB1s now and get PS4s! Games are not fun and UNPLAYABLE unless they are 1080P!

the Ps4 and Xbone have very similar software attach rates which means there are as many games sold per console on the Xbone as there is on the PS4, it it sells well they will make a profit.

If it was the other way around and it was PS4 that was struggling to handle 1080p lemmings would be rubbing cows faces in it daily....but since its Xflop that struggling resolution doesn't matter all of a sudden.

If someone had told you two years ago that the successor to the Xbox 360 would fail to hit 1080p resolution on most of its games, you'd have called them a filthy liar.

But, I'm glad you're satisfied with lower resolutions. It gives you something to look forward to next generation.

Ryse comes close, I'll admit that, it seems to be the only anomaly out of the Xbox's line up but you have the developers that are genuine geniuses who specialise in fantastic graphics for that, the other games play a different tune. Games at higher native resolutions will always look better. Ugly game is down to the art of a game, which is subjective.

They've already said they aren't finished optimizing the game yet. It's not confirmed to be anything yet because the game isn't finished. lol!!

Its 739p. Its a new resolution not possible on other platforms. The resolution is an exclusivity to Xbox One. With DX12 out, they will go as far as 741p!

If Microsoft hadn't gimped the Xbox One with an ESRAM bottleneck and a weak GPU, and the Playstation 4 did, would you have called 1080p "overblown"? Be honest with yourself.

I care about the games, and the multimedia functions, not the resolution. Especially since there really isn't a big visual difference between 720p and 1080p. It's not like the XB1 version is using 1/2 the polygons or textures.

The only reason I care at all is because I am sick and tired of people making the resolution out to be something bigger than it is.
