They play outside but I also like to play games with them.

TheCrimsonKoopa

That's what Mario Party 8 is for

I guess I'm just in the minority here but I happen to like the fact that most of the Wii games can be played by anyone. I get to play the best of the best Wii games and my kids can play them also.

I literally can't play any of the best 360 or PS3 games.

IGN Wii: In your opinion, are developers telling good stories in videogames?

Suda: I think videogames telling "good" stories do exist.

Play phoenix wright! That has a fantastic story, even my mom liked it.

I'll attest to that. My cousin who never touched a game before in her life loved it. Hell my little brother who only played FPSs before played it and loved it.

IGN Wii: There is word that you're planning to work with Hideo Kojima on a game for Wii known only as 'Project S.' Is this true?

Suda: I am sorry, but I can't make any comments on this.

i hope this is true

Probably is because if he wansn't working on this then he would have said we don't have any plans.

Or he just wants to screw with you and get your hopes up.

He likes messing around with us doesn't he :P He plans on developing a game for 360 after No More Heroes I think.

Hell no! I love warcraft series accept the MMO, but phoenix wright, is a text adventure. Best it can do is puzzles and story, and it got an 8.8 for that. PLAY phoenix wright.

You've shown us games that have violence can do good shooting mechanics. You leave games like phoenix wright, zelda, mario, and such no explanation as to how they could have been good games. It's true, no blood at all isn't a good thing ,msot games do have blood of some sort, but making it spray out like kill bill 1 ain't gonna push your ratings higher and higher.

ok ok my bad people let me dumb this down I'm not saying put Guns in Viva Pinata. I'm saying Take out the finishing moves and the techniques in a game like God of War just to make it less violent where you can rip off/out body parts and you hurt the gameplay

Developers understand that over the top violence sells to a select part of the market no matter what.  When your making a game that cost 10 million dollars you want to be assured that your going to sell to at least someone even if the game sucks hard.

On the other had there are countless games that don't have hardly any violence and are a ton of fun and sell like crazy.

True, violence is a nessessary part of a game like ninja gaiden or resident evil :P But there are many a games that can do without it, adn overdoing it certainily isn't an option to consider when a game is bad.

Did not expect that statement cause when the game was announcement Suda said they were cutting back in order to get a Teen rating so more people could buy the game since the M rating hurt Killer 7. So Im guessing they changed their minds. But honestly though the main weapon is a Beam Katana which would totally mutilate people. I hope it isnt just blatant violence just pounding someones head in the ground or slashing the hell out of them till theyre in tiny bloody peices, but good things like special movies taking out some guys leg and as he falls you catch him in the neck and you decapitate him. A finesse and skill to the blood beam katana carnage.

I really really really want Sierra to understand that those games would be perfect for DS and Wii. I love them on PC aswell, but they dont sell much on PC anymore. Judging by Dreamfall wich should have sold alot, I really want to play it but my PC faints if it tries to put anything ganming related in it

Are you joking? :?

Nope, meet thug pikachu, possibly one of the more ignorant of the people here though far from even being called bad compared to some people here, and he loves his games with no E rating.

you do realize that I can prove my point with direct gamespot quotes from the reviews of games like Gears, God of War (especially GOW) , and RE4, and I've already done it before right ?

Developers understand that over the top violence sells to a select part of the market no matter what. When your making a game that cost 10 million dollars you want to be assured that your going to sell to at least someone even if the game sucks hard.

On the other had there are countless games that don't have hardly any violence and are a ton of fun and sell like crazy.

over the top violence is simply fun when done right. I mean look at the Hydra fight in God of War

Are you joking? :?

nope, generally good uses of very violent techinques and attacks are generally more fun and more rewarding than the avg and mundane

I guess different tastes then, I cant say I have ever noticed a game getting better or worse from having much violence or blood in them.

I dont think I've ever seen a review talk so much about one single attack in a game as the chainsaw in Gears, ironically its also one of the most violent

I didn't really feel the boss fights in god of war were all that fun, it's just a movie sequence for half of it. But I suppose that little slightly interactive movie did get a lot of people excited.

OK, I can agree on that, if it makes the game more fun it is a great way to enhance the game. But if the game is boring or bad, then violence and blood dosent do anything to help it.

Nintendo is trying, but it might lose a lot of its current gamers, because they really do not want these types of games. They just want games like Zelda and Mario, but theres nothing wrong in that.

Let's hope 'more deadly' as in 'more attacks and other freakin' sweet violence' than 'tons of blood ala Gears of War'.
Oh yeah, Manhunt 2's just gonna be a PS2 port which is a port from the PSP version. So just get NMH before Suda51 gets sued by NBC for brand confusion.

The Hydra fight in God of War was fun because of the cool button combinations that you used, the cool control scheme, and the size and scope of the battle.  In other words it had great gameplay and amazing visuals.  It had nothing to do with senseless violence.

Then they won't buy them. You think any Lemmings lost sleep over Viva Pinata coming to the 360?

so basically there's no way in heck that NMH will get a T rating?
