Spyro Remaster delayed, not shocking at all.

"We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018.

Maybe now put all the games on the disc, maybe.

Looking forward to this, along with Crash, they've actually done quite good. For once.

Not that sad for me considering Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider release this September. I can do without it honestly since September is crowed as hell anyways. So putting Spyro in the same month as Hitman 2 sure seems fine for me to enjoy around the holidays and such. Gives me more time to space it out a little to enjoy Spider-Man, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I'm glad both Spyro & Code Vein left September so this puts me in a good advantage so I won't half to multitask playing those games :)

To be fair, they have to recall the discs, delete tha files, THEN compress the files and write them on the disc.

The games were tiny and very limited. I dont see how three would be worth more than tenner, remastery or no.

This is a new level of cheapdom.

Stop being cheap and use larger discs if it's an issue (assuming that's the problem).

But i saw a pic of the total size for the Bone being 36gb. That was last week and some think Spyro 2 and 3 were not finished on time.

i purchase all my games via Digital download anyway so this whole "why no 3 games on disc?!" crying isn't an issue for me.

afaik only Switch has that problem.

Downloads on day one for PC, PS or Xbox are because of day one patches, not disc sizes.

I don't remember sadly it was a post on 4chan by one of the dev's twitter's. Could be bullshit but it kind of makes sense considering they haven't shown any spyro 3 footage yet and it was so close to release.

With everything that's been going on, it sounds like this remake is FAR lower priority than the Crash one. I mean, it's not like the world was starving for a Spyro remaster. They could take all the time they need up until it's done properly.

Seems to me they delayed it to make for a switch ver. Would be really friggin weird not playing it on a playstation system but it should be a great nostalgia bomb on the go.

oh well let them have the time to make the games even better

I'm assuming the files are not on the disc because the games are not finished yet, they hoped the extra time between going gold and being released would be enough time to finish it and release a day one patch, guess all the bad PR made them delay it.
