Sony: There is absolutely more to be unveiled for the PS4 launch window

Denny said of the launch line-up: "With PlayStation 4 what's exciting is we can see the strength in depth of titles come through - not just in first party but third party, and I really believe PlayStation 4 will have the strongest launch line-up we've ever had."

As well as the core genres represented by Killzone and Drive Club, Denny assured that the PlayStation firm is committed to taking creative risks on PS4.

"I think there are big genres that we want to cover but we want to innovate within them and move them on," he explained.

"What we wanted to do last night as well by giving a glimpse of games that aren't in production - Media Molecule's insight into their concepting process and prototype they came up with - is that we will take risks and do things that are surprising, a bit different and that will hopefully excite our fans."

The exec added that there is "absolutely" more to be unveiled for the PS4 launch window.

"This was the first announcement, it was an early announcement, and as I said this was really to set the agenda and to get it clear to everybody what those design pillars were for PlayStation 4, what the ethos is behind PS4, who it's aimed at and getting the game development community on board," he said.

Hope that 1st party games outnumbers 3rd party ones.

That's the only reason why I would purchase the console. All 3rd parties belongs to PC.

It'll probably be Q1 2014 for us.

Santa Monica and Naughty Dog for sure have to show something for PS4.

I hope not. Space it out , Sony style. I want to be forced to get my Knack on. There's probably at least a few Move games though , that one company that made Move Sports are making a game for the PS4's launch.

I'd be highly disappointed if there wasnt more to be announced at E3..

I'm also waiting for the official launch titles (exclusives) for PS4 but I do hope Sony wont repeat the same mistakes with PS3 and make sure it launches with at least approx 12+ solid titles between exclusives & multiplats !!

Uncharted is just too popular to be done with. While I'd like to see a new ip from naughty dog, I really think Uncharted 4 will be shown at e3Heirren

I doubt it. They're still doing the finishing touches on TLOU. They might have something PS4 related in the works, but it'll be no where near ready to show off. Also, Crash and Jak where both just as, if not more popular than Uncharted, and Naughty Dog just threw them aside at the end of each gen.

Its not like they just relaxed at the office doing nothing.. Considering the PS4 will launch later this year, surely the team behind Uncharted 3, started working on ND's 1st PS4 title..

I hope we will get a glimpse of the game at this year's E3 show !!

oh boy its gonna be hard to resist the PS4.  If it is 400 or less I may get it day one, otherwise I MIGHT wait until it has been run through and tested by the masses :P.

So after showing 20 percent of their product and introducing some games and a bunch of pie in the sky BS, they actually have MORE to say?

Really? I expected them to shut up until the thing hit the store shelves. It's not like E3 is a few months away or anything.

All that aside I like most of what I'm hearing and I LOVE the Western tilt the new console has. It will be curious as to how this turns out.

Sounds great, I'm definitely gonna pick one up day 1. I just hope they release it worldwide in november
