So let's contemplate PC Gaming in retrospective for this year. With some occasional downs, we can surely proclaim PC as a gaming platform of the year - more games, better exclusives , unprecedentedly very well optimized multiplats despite some sour grapes like Batman AK, despite which PC actually came out victoriously forcing a big publisher to capitulate and offer refunds. As the scandal served a good warning to other developers to not f*ck up with PC crowd.

eh, I dont think the PC had a particularly good year, unless you are big into strategy games. No one system had a particularly great year, mostly multiplats that were good.

PC won in the sense that most of the multiplats are best on PC, though Batman kinda screwed that up

Have to give it to PC, they have something good for everyone. One could argue they have too much. I mean they had more then 100+ good or better games this year, its insane.

Only good gaming platform.

PC always wins. And we still have December. Dirt Rally is coming out this month. Still, I think this year could've been better but it was definitely a lot better than what was on Consoles IMO. 2016 looks phenomenal. Let's hope things won't get delayed to 2017.

@jhonMalcovich: It'll never happen! OT though, I had a lot of fun with my PC this year... Just got the itch to get back into The Old Republic, which I haven't played since close to release.

I really enjoyed The Witcher 3. I probably put more time into Fallout 4 but The Witcher is the superior game.

It's pretty impossible to defeat that lineup, especially since current gen consoles mostly bank on multiplats for their games.

In before consolites bring up a single exclusive (or more likely an upcoming exclusive) and try to claim ownage in 2015 with their 2016 unreleased bullshot game.

Pfft, I'd rather play Bloodborne for the rest of my LIFE than play any of those stupid games in the OP.

1. I'm not spending $5,000 + monthly upgrades on a PC just to play MMO and RTS garbage.

2. I don't want to deal with buggy .dll's, and most importantly..

3. I didn't see commercials for those games. They must suck.

PC won this year, no doubt about it. From the diverse library of quality exclusives, to the best versions of multi-plats, PC dominated the competition this year.

list is still lacking some well received games like invisible inc, rocket league, dirt rally, etc

even some pc remaster like divinity original sin ee can even compete for goty again lol...

A few more I might add to the list: Mushihimesama, Clannad, Higurashi, Grisaia, Resident Evil HD Remaster.

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 were awesome too. Unwritten Tales 2 was ported to Consoles recently and it has zero user review or even score on metacritic. They only care about cookie cutter shooters. Unwritten Tales 2 had stunning art and great story.

Legacy of the void is easy the best game of 2015 both for play yourself and watch the esport/pro-player tournaments.

Well what else is new?

Campaign was phenomenal. It was 20+ hours long and the scene where Spear of Adun's different parts fall on battlefield as you fight ground forces while rest of the Protoss fight Amon's Golden Armada near Planet's atmosphere, was epic.

Let's pretend PS4 is a low-middle class gaming PC,it would help us understand why it sell like hotcakes.

The competition is pretty stale.

Have zero interest in any of the fifteen exclusives. But I am interested in/have played 7 of the multiplats listed. So yeah PC is number one if getting the best version of multiplats is ur priority.

PC is a good platform...I'm glad I built a rig this year.

Not to mention that the community is ruining games with mods.

My filthy consoles will never know the love you give your PC.

PC will always be the best option for gaming if one can afford it. Honestly been doing more PC stuff than PS4 stuff this year and my PC is outdated
