Since the PS5 is selling out, will the Xbox Series X sell out??

I know that the Xbox brand isn't the most popular; but in the US, the Xbox tends to hold it's own pretty well. I was expecting to nonchalantly pre-order the Series X next week, but with the PS5 selling out it's stock, I'm kinda worried that I have to put some effort in ordering a Series X. I'm assuming there are some people out there that know the power differences between these two consoles and I'm thinking MS doesn't have more Series X available than the Series S for launch.

Mind you, I'm just getting it to play next-gen NBA 2K probably =P

The rush probably due to walmart suddenly broke the pre order date. Sony originally planned pre order goes live tomorrow for all retailers.

It just sold out on Amazon in under 10 minutes. Sold out on Target, Walmart and GS earlier tonight.

My friend just snatched one off target and one off wal-mart. He's going to resell them. Yeah, he's one of those dudes. I checked the sites and they're sold out. You can check them yourself. If they're sold out at those two spots, then for sure they're sold out or are going to sell out at like Amazon and Best Buy.

Can confirm this to be true in Canada as well.

I ordered as well on Amazon but when I click the link to the PS5 on my order page it says page not found now.

Actually now it's saying currently unavailable.

I already pre-ordered my PS5, I ain't touching xbox, I don't think they will sell out.

It gave me the same errors at Walmart and then told me its sold out. Might be the reason.

Got my All Digital Edition on Amazon tonight. Can't wait to get the Series X on preorder next week!

Did Sony lie about the pre-order date? Seems scalpers bought them all up so expect to find them on eBay for $800+ in a couple months.

Sold out everywhere in Australia. Pre-orders are up for second shipment with no given date except 2021.

I'm not worthy because i have standards and Sony's racing games don't.

I don't think demon souls is and thats the best game they have at launch.

A lot of money to play a single game thats a remake especially if you have a PC as its likely to come to that soon enough.

PS4s sold out on launch and I managed to get one a couple days later from amazon so I’m not too worried about getting a PS5. Preorders tend to get bought up and I think the same will happen for xboxes.

I'm not expecting them to sell out initially, but if people can't find PS5s this holiday, a lot will turn to an Xbox as an alternative.

There's always multiple pre-order allotments before launch and, other batches right after launch because of the holiday rush.

Just stock up on cross gen games / bundles and, then get the box when you can.

I honestly can't see any reason to buy either of these consoles at launch. Spiderman and a Demon's Souls remaster on PS5 and jack shit on Xbox.

I can't understand why people want to buy them. But hey, it's their money, ain't gonna knock it.
