If a game is good, it should be $70 MINIMUM.
If you disagree, you're into bad games. You're hyped for Infinite. Bye.
You guys are either terrible at satire or have some serious issues.
Anyway, no, not all games should be $70. Hell....NO game should be $70. AAA gaming, if it even deserves to be called that any more, is a joke: games are developed by teams that are too huge, they take too long to make, and they cost too much to make.
With some exceptions, the best games I've played in the past ten years have cost less than 40 dollars.
Multi-billion dollar CEOs are struggling.
Stop being entitled. Get a job. Inflation. Games cost more to make. Games cost X in 199something.
Lmao, so if you bought games at $60, you were just an average person. But man, that extra $10. You're rolling in the dough! 😆 weren't games even more expensive years ago?
I’m going to go with a “No” on this myself. I’d rather not pay more for something if I don’t have too.

Or i am not into bad games like The Medium.
I leave the $70 to the Sony shills. They love paying more for a single player one and done experience. 😂
Yet you go and hype up Sony games 😄
Not unless games needs to be 70 bucks in order to be made.
Since companies aren't forced to sell games for 70 bucks, or forced to make games with a gazillion dollar budget (or forced to have $50.000 worth of microtransactions for that matter), I'm gonna go ahead and not pay that.

Yup. All very true.

Nah I'd go with the stupid option. I've read enough of your posts to be certain of that.
The $10 difference in some games is nothing and quite honestly to be expected. I remember SNES games being $70 but that was rare. Same for N64 games.
If you think $70 is bad now... you're not paying attention to the American dollar collapse. All these stimulus checks coupled with the trillions of dollars in policy the current administration is pushing... expect $90 games soon. Then expect your taxes to go up so much you can't afford used games at $50.
Time to wake up guys. You're in a shit storm and the worst is yet to come.

I disagree with your claims.
@hardwenzen: Did you pay $70 for Returnal yet?
I refuse to comment on the matter. Talk to lawyer.
This stupid argument again?
You got one side who are happy to bend over and get on all fours and the other who's tired of the AAA game industry's bullshit.
We've done this before.
@me2002: he's been in multiple threads triggered by people's way of spending. Sony and Nintendo winning keep him triggered all the time. 🤣🤣🤣
@dabear: "It's not rich people - it's cows who want to try to reassure themselves they made the right call in getting a PS5.
They're called cows because they are used to getting milked."
By that logic, Xbox owners who keep claiming gamepass is the second coming are triggered and insecure trying to reassure themselves they made the right choice by going cheap and having only bad/old content available. 🤣🤣
So many of you have issues with the $70 price tag. This tells me that some of you are simply not gamers.

Says the person who refused to by Returnal for said price. 😎
I don't count.

Pedro got triggered by me so much he doesn't even reply to me anymore.
Oh, on topic, yes they should be $70, games cost a lot more to make these days it's only fair I think PS2 was the last price hike which is long enough.

I agree. I really wish I could have paid $70 for New Pokemon Snap or Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. I feel like I'm robbing Nintendo by paying less! Hopefully they consider it for Pokemon Legends Arceus or their Zelda anniversary remasters.

Did that really happened? Back in my days, those SNES games (including Sega Genesis) were price $60 but I assume that depends where you live at the time? At least here in the U.S, they were $60 when Toys R Us was still a thing. When the PS1 arrived, games cost only $50 due to CD-Rom being cheap to produce and that was the saving grace for gamers and developers to make cheaper games over cartridges.
I'm not all that worry if games get extra expensive as I can still find amazing deals on PC...its the console exclusives that will be expensive and from this point on, I'll just end up buying 2/3 PS5 games per year and that will be the one's I'll play day one vs wait later for a sale. Sometimes you gotta think smart what game you really wanna play so badly.

That's the funny part of it. When he starts to ignore you pretending he doesn't care but then he makes a random post referencing you proving he actually cares. He owns himself all the time. 🤭

LOL! Say that to all your fellow Xgoons that bought The Show at full price. You're no longer in a position to complain about game prices when YOU people are buying Sony games at full price. There's gonna be a civil war with the Xfandom now. The Game Pass bums, and the people that pay for games. 🤣

I wonder how many people complaining about $70 actually bought games at full price for $60 to begin with. I notice some of the usual suspects here who have claimed that they buy games from gray markets or get really cheap GamePass trials.
Not all games. of course not. its great to have a variety of games with different production budgets and prices.
But some games do need a higher selling price to justify their production. well to be more specific: they need a higher price to avoid nickle and diming and having the game being designed by an accountant.
Production budgets are going up. To get everything with most AAA games today costs 70+ anyway....they just break it up. or they go looking for that sweet sweet sub money in some capacity. that 50-60 currently is just the basic entry fee for many AAA games now.
if its a choice of 60 but with more MTX or 70 but thats it (outside of proper expansions) then 70 please.
as for are they worth it? up to the customer at the end of the day.
For me games like total war games, xenoblade games, elder scrolls, Mass effects, witchers....yeah i will. i get a large number of hours of enjoyment out of them. If Squadron 42 ever actually is released will i chuck down 70 quid? hell yeah i will!
