It's pretty, but still not worth the price. Not even close.

Not only can you play your games in HD (excluding Wii owners, you get what you pay for), but you can watch.......say it ain't so.....HD broadcasts on it too.

I know watching TV on you HDTV might sound criminal, but take it from me, I heard from my buddies grandma, that read it on some magazine, that you can also watch HD broadcasts from cable/sat on your HD monitor.:o

Just look at the textures and AA. 480 is just a poor resolution, and yet... it's still used by 75% of the population, probably more if you factor in secondary TVs.

Just as I thought, those images he posted were from PS3... The Xbox360 displayed in SD, while not HD quality, are much better than what the PS3 displays in SD... Thanks to an imba scaler chip...

Basically, 360 looks amazing no matter where you play it, and unlike PS3, text is actually readable in SD...

Agreed. My first Gears of War experience was in SD... And I loved it (though it wasn't my favorite game, but w/e) And I hated how all anyone ever talked about was how great it looked in HD, when I'm trying to say that it has some of the best gameplay I've seen in a really long time...

That, and Starcraft proves that point...

Maybe thats because it was took with a camera, uploaded onto the interwebs and then posted here? Would you personally like to watch the trailer on my HDTV? Anyway, if you have HD (do you?) why are you so bothered?

I laughed too.

I only bothered to look at the NG pictures, and people are right, they aren't great pictures, but I'm not a high end technophile, but I can clearly see less pixels in the HD picture vs the SD picture. The HD Ninja Gaiden picture looks much cleaner and smooth.SemiMaster

U should really check out the Boxer in Corner shots theres a HUGE difference...even with the crappy shots taken.

Were those SD shots done on a HDTV? If so that isnt accurate, because a game running in SD on a SDTV would obviously look better than a game running in SD on a HDTV, due to the downscaling.RagedRaldo54

Was wondering that myself. Are two different TVs being used here? In that you unplug the game from the HDTV
and then plug it into a SDTV? 

It is tough to get good scans of of both HD and SD with a camera, but it is especially difficult on SD. Unless your camera is something special.

I posted some 360 comparisons a while back, but it is hard to get the true detail you see with the naked eye.

Ok Im the guy. Yes the guy. First off yes, Sheep did say over and over again (when this whole HD nonsense was first being popularized)  that  getting an xbox 360 without an HDTV would be pointless because it would look the same as a Wii so you might as well stick to the original xbox or opt for a wii. And they said the difference between a Wii and 360 wouldn't be noticible on an SDTV. Then there were many sheep who would do price comparisons and slap on an extra 3-6,000 bucks because of an HDTV. How does that NOT make any sense? You probably werent here then, thats why your so confused.

Now Nintendo saying it, im not sure but sheep definately said it. ANd your actually asking for a link to somwhere around Summer 2005? Are you serious? Lol. Gotta be kidding me.....
