I have Motorstorm and NBA 2K7 theres a huge difference in NBA 2K7 but its hard to tell with screenshots, I have a couple of demos, NGS, GTHD, VT3, Def Jam, Resistance...ill take pics and post later.

I think the last two pics show a huge difference....Ill try my best and add some great examples like that one.

So I got to see the Lakers get owned in HD, but it really wasn't that much of a difference. Digital has a huse impact over analog signals, but the difference between digital 480i to digital 720p isn't really that great.

Especially with less than a 50" TV, I couldn't recommend someone to purchase an HDTV just to see things in HD.

So basically you're saying that the real cost of the 360 is $499.99 plus a $1000 (at the very least) tv?  Just another reason to wait a couple more years before I even consider a current gen console.

On SD setups you miss major ammounts of detail that is why you see alot of black levels, not to mention text is a pain to watch on SD screens.

And I'm talking real OTA HD.  Programming that is meant to be HD, like sports games have been recently.  I'm not trying to compare programs broadcast digitally in 480i on an "HDTV" station.

OTA is uncompressed as I recall.

Those pictures are horrible.  That camera just does not take good pictures at all.  But yeah, HD looks amazingly better than SDTV, no doubt.jbrittain

Of course HDTV looks not only better, but noticeably better in every aspect.  The only downside of most (all) HD monitors, is that the contrast ratio are lower compared to CRT screens.  Besides that, there is no comparision.

If you can't tell the difference, quit buying cheap walmart HDTV's.
