Wow you're an idiot, so it's absolutely unthinkable that Sony support both PS3 and PS4? 4K projectors are already in stores and available to buy. Sony can use any tech they want but financially it wouldn't be advisable, PS3 only cost so much because Blu ray was the newest drive at the time and the Cell was co-developed by Sony at the cost of half a billion dollars and about 7 years of research, but most likely they will in fact use a mass produced chip from AMD due to their dominance in the APU + GPU performance as we see very small PCs and laptops easily playing games on max with good frame rate and that's the kind of attributes they need for a console. I agree it'll very much be on par with Xbox.[QUOTE="JohnF111"][QUOTE="TyberZannxxxx"]
This is all fake. First of all, Sony has a 10-year lifecycle for its consoles, which means the PS4 most likely be released until 2016. Second of all, 4k TVs are still in development and most likely won't be available until at least 2020. Third of all, Sony can't afford to use cutting-edge hardware so that is it significantly more powerful than its competition. If they tried that right now, the console would cost more than $1,000, preventing almost everyone from buying it. Chances are, the PS4 will be on par with the Wii U and next Xbox.

And it will be on par with the Wii U.
Of my entire post that's the part you object to? Yeah well nothing is concrete so I'll agree but in my mind Nintendo won't go for a performance leap of about 10 times. It's not their focus so I doubt it but hey... we never know.
