Rockstar confirms the gameplay footage from GTA V was from the PS3

So happy to see rockstar giving ps3 users a decent port this time, and we won't see a gta iv situation again

I still wonder how well the game would run on that version and if it's in HD or not, I'll wait for Digital Foundry before deciding my purchase between the versions.

I think its safe to say that Rockstar and Sony are in bed with each other. With the ps3 gta 5 bundle and them unveiling the gameplay with the ps3 version. 

Probably will be this year goty is so huge is not even funny.

This game has been in development since GTA 4, so they couldn't just scrap what they had when next-gen dev kits were available. Plus they reach a wider audience this way and make more money.

And how much you wanna bet it won't actually be THAT smooth when it launches?

Let them make their PS360 versions, then focus on the PC version and from the PC they can really easily move to next gen consoles with it. It should be a pretty simple port process considering how alike PCs and next gen stuff is. 

I don't think it will happen but I'm not counting it out completely either

Yeah everyone around here seems to think that once next gen hits that current gen is totally over and everyone moves to PS4 and X1

this game isn't cheap, ps3 and 360 already have a big install base already and the reason its not going to pc right now is because of piracy. Rockstar are trying to make as much money back and in 6 months when this game has sold all its going to sell on consoles then its getting a pc port. How it always will been how it always will be.  Will we see a ps4 and xbox one version? I doubt it

This game looks incredible. Literally cannot wait.

It will be any of us that don't own a capable gaming PC. Although I am a sure there will be a few PS3 games that I will still want.

I think it would surprise you just how many people won't jump into next gen right away. Or will and then go back to PS3 because the games on PS4 have dried up. 

After all if you were to just drop your PS3 completely you'd miss Dark Souls II
