Returnal and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart - predict the Metacritic scores

Returnal 9/10 on GS. 88 on Meta.

Ratchet 8/10 on GS. 84 on Meta.

I'm gonna say both between 80-84 on MC.

Returnal will be lucky to make any big waves when people will be licking their chops for Resident Evil 8 just a week away. Ratchet and Clank should be the better of these two and it's probably for the best that between both games it plans to go second.

Both in the low 80s

Returnal 81 MC and 8 at GS

Ratchet 88 MC and 9 at GS

both are 80+ imho. Ratchet probably higher though

Ratchet 7 . That quick swapping world feature seems like a gimmick to me. Does it really improve gameplay?

Around 8/10 for both.

I predict R&C to be slightly overrated by Sony fans, and Returnal slightly underrated because said Sony fans don't like games that are a bit more difficult.

Think both games will end up around the 75-80 mark and both will get a 8 here on gamespot.

Both will score in the 8's. Returnal could possibly land in the 7.5's, though.

Returnal will be high 70s and ratchet low 80s

Ratchet PS4 was good but an insult to the original ps2 games

Its not meant to improve gameplay just load times, but they way Sony were banging on about it you would think that it was going to cure cancer.

"Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart"? I do not see any innuendo in that title like past times like "Up Your Arsenal."

I'm merely basing my scores on the fact that there is a drought of PS5 games.., and the potential of the "next-gen" hype train ("Teh graphics, Teh SSD" ...all that jazz) could elevate the review scores a bit.

@i_p_daily: Load times do affect gameplay. Instant teleporting to different areas of a game in an open world type game would be way more enjoyable than having to wait 15-30secs. Also, if this game were possible to play on ps4, you know Sony would be releasing it on there, just like Horizon and GoW will be.
