what ensues is the worst of our ilk claiming foul and bias over a lack of xbox love in the picture. After a string of first world complaints, the Respawn developer tweets a picture of the first Xbox copy off the line, known as a green disk. Ultimately a boring blank disk with no image on it.

Well people have been known to hold strong loyalties to a platform for no reason.

Personally I'm not too happy with them not doing a PC beta, and ultimately I think this shows a lack of respect for their PC players.

So yeah I get the sentiment, but on the other hand people get PISSED on the internet for every single reason these days, so meh. I don't care what people get pissed about anymore, it's basically everything.

I don't engage in social media for this very reason. Everyone is offended or upset about EVERYTHING. I have a friend that sends me the best (aka worst) Facebook posts regarding politics and the upcoming election. There are many folks out there that should not be allowed to reproduce. It looks like some of these Titanfall 2 fans should be added to the list.

Meh, I think they have a bias, I'm not going to let this in particular get to me. Rather, I'm rather peeved that they didn't seem to consult with Xbox/PC gamers that played the original game to gauge what really worked in the original game, instead seemed to pander to the COD crowd, the NeoGAF community of Sony fanboys, and took feedback from the did-not-play-it haters bitching about the AI bots. Plus, they suck for not partaking in EA Access features like 10% discount or being able to play it early, have a time trial demo, that stuff.

Anyhow, nothing to get too worked up about that I'll refuse to get it. I'm looking forward to playing it. Hoping it turns out good. If it turns out to be shit though, they're on their own.

Between people boycotting games because they dont like the publisher, making an uproar because the protagonist got beaten up in a cutscene, a few people boycotting a game because it has console ports (despite lack of evidence the game suffered from it). Hard to say.

They've sorta let cows control them, as that's where they think all the money will be coming from (and that's probably correct).

I wish they would've kept the EA Access for Xbox owners though.

To be fair, this game is going to bomb on XB1 and PC. The only people that liked the beta were the PS4 players. the XB1 and PC players hated it

well lets take fanboyism out of it, because not everyone is a fanboy and talk about TF2.

PS4 players like it because it's something different then CoD or BF but still kinda the same

XB1/PC players hate it, because they dumbed the game down into CoD.

Remember the cows saying it's CoD with mechs? well it wasn't, but now it is. I'll give you a few examples of why the game sucks

1) Map design - Respawn changed from open maps to adding lanes into maps. Said people were dying too much from everywhere and couldn't figure out out ot be better so they wanted to make it easier

2) Lower TTK on pilots - you can mow down 3-4 pilots in 1 clip now halfway across the map, this also limits the use of upclose weapons. Wasn't like that before. Before TF had a higher TTK then BF or Cod but lower then halo. Now it's about even with CoD and BF

3) Lower mobility, this comes into play a lot with map design, but voerall pilots and titans are just slower and less mobile

4) Rodeo gameplay loop removed, replaced with canned animation - before a pilot taking a titan on 1v1 was an awesome cat and mouse gameplay loop. The better player won. Now you get rodeo'd and it doesn't matter. the pilot isn't a threat, they take your battery and hop off. Before you had to use an ability to get out to shoot them off. Now it's no issue

5) Rodeoing's took skill, timing, and parkour skills now you can just grapple hook

6) Lack of AI, doesn't feel like a full and fun battlefield anymore, it feels empty and boring

7) Camping was a terrible strategy in 1, now it's very viable

All in all Respawn flat out came out and said TF1 was too hectic, it was a bunch of ideas thrown together, they wanted to slow the game down, calm it down, and make it more friendly for new players. and in doing so, they took out everything that was good in TF1

Lol, no... My friends, and me are already 10 years over 16, and all buy digital. In my case on Xbox One, they buy their games on Steam. Even when I was actually 14 and bought a game on disk, I would download a crack, just not to put it in every time, it's a hassle, and not efficient at all.
